Hi, Good afternoon. I would like to ask you if when I can use present perfect or present perfect continuos when the action is finished or still continuing?
for example:
I have been studying english is the same as i have studied english. here it means it has finished?
I have studied english for 2 years, I have been studying english for 2 years. here it means it still continues until I stop?
I have drunk a glass of beer (here when it happened is not important and it is not said, and i may drink again?) I drank a glass of beer (here in simple past, it means I won't drink again? Could you explain these ways please?

HI Alisha, thank you for your video. Your saying is all right, but why don't you say the reason to use 'have' to mean what you're saying?
You had better explain why you use 'have' and 'past participle' to express so many those things.
you should explain like this :
"the word have has a meaning like this blah blah,
and the word past participle has a meaning like this blah blah blah,
therefore the phrase have plus past participle has the meaning like this blah blah blah.
So a lot of meanings that present perfect tense has are a logical result of this structure."
You don't know why present perfect is difficult? Because it never gives you intuitive understanding from its structure interpretation.
