(ตั้งแต่ 14.00 – 16.00 น. รออยู่) ตัวอย่าง ฝนตกตั้งแต่เมื่อคืนนี้ (เมื่อคืนฝนเริ่มตกเวลา 22.00 น. และเช้านี้ก็ยังตกอยู่) Past Perfect Continuous แสดงว่ามีบางอย่างเกิดขึ้นจากอดีตและต่อเนื่องไปจนถึงอีกช่วงเวลาหนึ่งในอดีต การกระทำไม่ได้อยู่ในปัจจุบัน ตัวอย่าง: ฉันทำงานที่ ABC มา 5 ปีแล้ว (ฉันเริ่มทำงานในปี 2552 และลาออกในเดือนธันวาคม 2557 ตอนนี้ฉันไม่ได้ทำงานที่บริษัท ABC ดังนั้นเราจึงใช้ Past Perfect Continuous แบบต่อเนื่อง) ตัวอย่าง: ฉันโกรธ ฉันรอจอห์นมาสองชั่วโมงแล้ว (เมื่อวานรอ 2 ชม.) ตัวอย่าง ถนนเปียก เมื่อวานฝนตกหลายชั่วโมง (เมื่อวานการกระทำของฝนเริ่มตกต่อเนื่องสองสามชั่วโมงแล้วก็หยุดลง ปัจจุบันฝนไม่ตก) .
