    I have been reading a book.

    In both sentences. action started in the past and time is also not mentioned.

  4. Hello, thanks for your nice work and clear explanation. Although I came across some examples that made confusion for me.
    1. You are working hard today.
    2 You have been working hard today.
    Are they both correct,if yes then what's the difference?

    The second type is :
    2.1 The population of the world is increasing fast.
    2.2 The population of the world has been increasing fast.

    I also wonder if the 2.2 is correct ,if not then why ?
