Is there always "to"? For example "He admitted stealing phone" is without to and it's right, isn't it?
I prefer self-studying to watching your videos.
holaaaaaa
How silly when you dance….
Look forward to, admit to, object to, be used to, prefer doing X to doing Y, get round to
Very interested topic!
Amazing 😉
I kept trying to remember the name of the presenter while watching the video, but I couldn't. Apart from the topic of the video, I always like to listen to THIS British accent of you guys at BBC learning English. I would kindly request you to make programmes which are similar to the old Talk about English, ones that are a bit long, comprehensive, and have much English. I am one of those who learned a lot from these valuable materials. I also miss Callum, William, and Jacky voices ❤❤❤. You are all amazing.
Thanks a lot teacher!
Liked the information but the dude is overacting so much that it gets disturbing.
Thanks a lot .it is a very useful vedeo especially it is short
You are a good performer.
Thanks BBC for omitting the usual boring music in the beginning.
Can you make the duration lil bit longer in summary, please?
Great video . thank you !
Hi Dan, so there is no rule to determine what to use.
The verbs you mentioned are so common and most learners know them, but the question is: is there a list of these verbs? Is it a big list?
The case is not easy all the time because sometimes we come across some phrases that confuse us, for example
There were some hurdles 'to playing' or 'to play' soccer on this pitch.
What about using ' to' as a preposition or as an infinitive after nouns or adjectives?
Thank you dear sir ji
Bulabulala lalala
Great video, Dan! Thanks a lot! I have a request though. I'd much appreciate some example sentences for each verb on your slide. Thank you!
I look forward to watching more learning videos. Thank you
Plz make on "being"
Thank you, BBC. 💚
Watching from Cambodia 🇰🇭
Can't get enough of your lessons. You are an amazing teacher. I wonder if you make your own YouTube channel, you'll get huge subscribers
At 1:11, you complicate things by saying "I'm interested in learning TO SPEAK English."
It's not representative of the subtitles and introducing another verb (to speak) could be confusing for learners given the fact that yet another 'to' infinitive ("and beyond!") appears.
I prefer speaking English to learning grammar. I’d like to study abroad after graduating ,so I should learn English as often as I can, even make it a daily routine. I believe each effort is a stepping stone to my final achievement-becoming a good teacher.I object to people talking loudly in public which makes me annoyed so that I can’t focus on my works.
I really learn a lot from BBC learning English!
I look forward to watching more videos from BBC. Thanks, it is greatly helpful.
