ทำไมต้องใช้ Heard

อย่างที่ได้กล่าวในตอนแรกแล้วว่า Heard คือ กริยาช่องที่ 2 และ 3 ของคำว่า hear ที่แปลว่า ได้ยิน หรือรู้จักแต่ในที่นี้ เราจะใช้ heard กับ Present Perfect Tense ซึ่งเป็นการบ่งบอกว่า ประธานได้ทำกริยานั้นมาตั้งแต่อดีตมาจนถึงปัจจุบันและส่งผลต่อไปยังอนาคตด้วย ดังนั้น การใช้ Heard of หรือ Heard about จึงใช้ในรูปที่แสดงว่า เราได้รู้จักหรือได้ยินเรื่องนั้น ๆ คนนั้น ๆ มาแล้ว และมีผลคือ รู้จักต่อไปในอนาคตด้วยโดยเราจะใช้ในรูปประโยคดังนี้

หากเราต้องการจะใช้ Heard of กับบางสิ่งในรูปประโยค นั่นหมายความว่า เราเพียงแค่ “รู้จัก” หรือ “ได้ยิน” ถึงการมีอยู่ของสิ่งนั้น แต่อาจจะยังไม่ได้รู้รายละเอียดลงลึก เช่นการที่เรารู้จักดาราสักคน หรือประเทศสักประเทศ หรือของบางสิ่งเพียงผิวเผินโดยยังไม่รู้ลึกลงไปถึงรายละเอียด ก็จะใช้ Heard of ดังเช่นตัวอย่างต่อไปนี้

เมื่อรู้จักสิ่งใดลงลึกไปถึงรายละเอียดหรือประวัติของสิ่งนั้น อย่างเช่น รู้จักดารานักร้องจนเป็นแฟนตัวยง เป็นโอตะ ของนักร้องคนนั้น ก็ถือว่าผ่าน สามารถใช้ Heard about ได้ หรือรู้รายละเอียดของเรื่องใดเรื่องหนึ่งจนถึงกับมาเมาท์กันได้ ก็ต้องใช้คำนี้ เรามาดูตัวอย่างรูปประโยคกันเลยค่ะ
