I have learnt from dozen of videos from your You tube channel. I’ve leaned through movie and I found it ‘s pretty fascinating fun and effective way to improve my English . Nonetheless I have struggled in grammar a lot plus I dislike learning it. However your teacher method always the best ,get technical , convenient to catch up. I've got three questions regarding the video at 1:35; when Joey tells Chandler "but then you left" could he have said but then you have left?.
Same goes for "I went to Spain" couldn't it be: well, it's not like I have gone to Spain?
And finally that "I went to the bathroom" Couldn't it be I have gone to the bathroom?.
The reason I'm asking is because those actions happened in the recent past and not only that but also they are relevant to the present, as if he hadn't gone to the bathroom now chandler would be sitting in that sofa.
