The Passive Voice
Passive Voice is used when the focus is on the action, and not on the person who does it. Learn how to use it correctly in more tenses in this video. There are many examples that will make it easy for you to understand.
Active and Passive Voice
Voice in English sentences expresses the relationship between the action (of the verb) and the participants (who does the action) in the sentence. If the subject does the action (agent or doer of the verb), the sentence is in the active voice. On the contrary, ff the subject just acts as the receiver of the action (verb), the sentence is in the active voice.

Passive Voice คืออะไร?
มันคือรูปที่ประธานถูกกระทำเช่น
👉🏼 ฉันโดนตี
👉🏼 หมาถูกรถชน
👉🏼 เขาถูกทำร้าย
โครงสร้างของมันคือ subject + v.to be + v.3
เช่น
👉🏼 He was punished. เขาถูกลงโทษ ✅
👉🏼 They were asked to clean the room. พวกเขาถูกขอร้องให้ทำความสะอาดห้อง ✅
บางกรณีอาจจะมี by + คนทำกริยานั้นๆ
แต่ถ้าประโยคไหนไม่มี by + คนทำกริยา แปลว่า ประโยคนั้นไม่เน้น ‘คนทำ’ แต่เขาจะเน้น ‘กรรมที่โดนกระทำ’
