ทบทวนหลักการใช้คำกริยาชอบ Like

การใช้คำกริยา Like as a verb meaning ‘enjoy’

เรียนภาษาอังกฤษง่ายๆ ด้วยตนเองในวันนี้ Admin  ขอนำคำกริยา Like  มาแนะนำสำหรับนักเรียน และผู้สนใจพัฒนาทักษะภาษาอังกฤษทั่วไป ได้ลองทบทวนการใช้งานและศึกษากัน ปกติแล้วคำกริยา Like จะใช้พูดถึง คำนามที่เป็น สิ่งของ เป็นบุคคล ที่เราชื่นชอบ หรือโปรดปราน ยกตัวอย่างการใช้งาน

แบบที่ 1 ใช้  like + noun phrase (คำนามหรือนามวลีตามหลังกริยา like)

หลังคำกริยา like ต้องเป็นคำนาม Noun และคำกริยา like ให้ระวังเรื่องเติม –s,-es แตกต่างกันตามประธาน 

1 ฉันชอบซาร่าแต่ไม่ค่อยชอบน้องชายเขานัก

I like Sarah but I don’t like her brother much.

2 ฉันชอบผลไม้ไทย

3 ฉันชอบการเต้นรำไทย

4 เธอชอบหนังตลก

5 เขาชอบการร้องเพลงจริงๆ

He really likes the singing.

 แบบที่ 2 like + -ing

1 ฉันชอบการว่ายน้ำก่อนทานอาหารเช้า

I like swimming before breakfast.

2 เธอชอบการวิ่งในตอนเช้า  

3 เขาชอบเล่าเรื่องตลก

He likes telling jokes.

4 พวกเราชอบดูหนังเกาหลี

5 ฉันชอบการเล่นเทนนิส

แบบ ที่ 3 like + to-infinitive

1 เธอชอบที่จะไปเยี่ยมพ่อแม่ในตอนวันหยุดของสัปดาห์

She likes to go and see her parents at the weekend.

2 ฉันไม่ชอบที่จะปั่นจักรยานเวลามืด

I don’t like to cycle in the dark.

3 คุณคิดว่าเธอจะต้องการให้เรานำขนมซอกเกอร์แลต หรือดอกไม้มา

Do you think she would like us to bring some chocolates or flowers?

4 เขาชอบวิ่งในตอนเช้า

5 พวกเราชอบดื่มกาแฟ

แบบที่ 4 like + wh-clause

1 ฉันไม่ชอบอะไรที่เขาทำ

I don’t like what he did.

2 เราชอบวิธีการที่พวกเขาปรุงอาหาร

We liked how they cooked the fish.

3 เธอไม่ชอบอะไรที่เพื่อนๆ ทำให้

 สำหรับคำศัพท์อื่นๆ ที่น่าสนใจเมื่อพูดถึงคำกริยา like คือคำตรงข้าม antonyms ,และคำเหมือน synonyms  ได้แก่ Hate, like, love และ  prefer

แบบฝึกหัดที่ 3  ฝึกเขียนประโยคโดยใช้คำกริยา Like ดังนี้

ประธาน + กริยา +  Infinitive + to               I,YOU,WE ,THEY        +    like        +   to + ………….

เกี่ยวกับ คำศัพท์ Infinitive (Noun) ออกเสียงโดยเน้นเสียงพยางค์ที่สอง /ɪnˈfɪn.ɪ.tɪv/ แปลว่า มีความหมายว่า กลุ่มคำกริยาเฉพาะจำนวนหนึ่งที่ใช้ตามหลัง to  ซึ่งจะต้องอยู่ในรูปแบบของคำกริยาเดิมเท่านั้น *** (ไม่มีการเติม –s,-es,ed,-ing ท้ายคำกริยาและไม่มีการแปรผันเป็นรูปกริยาใน tense อื่นๆ )

ขอยกตัวอย่างกลุ่มคำเฉพาะ infinitives with to  มาแสดงเพื่อเป็นตัวอย่างประกอบเป็นแนวทาง ดังนี้

 Agree  , pretend ,  fail , love ,  promise , arrange ,  forget , manage , ask ,  hate , refuse  , begin ,  help

Need,  remember ,  choose ,  hope , try , intend ,  plan , want , learn , prefer , wish,  decide , like , prepare

เอาเท่านี้ก่อน เพราะจริงๆ มีมากกว่านี้ แต่เลือกมาเท่าที่จำเป็นและเห็นบ่อยๆ ก็ประมาณนี้ครับ ส่วนหลักการจำ อย่างน้อยก็ต้องเคยเห็น และฝึกใช้บ่อยๆ จนเป็นความเคยชิน ก็จะสามารถใช้ได้ถูกต้องต่อไปแบบอัตโนมัติครับ

1 ฉันเกลียดที่เห็นเธอไปกับเขา

2 ฉันชอบไปดูพระอาทิตย์ตกในตอนเย็น

3 เธอสัญญาว่าจะทำความสะอาดบ้าน

4 เธอจำได้ว่าจะต้องเขียนจดหมายถึงคุณครู

5 เขาหวังว่าจะได้เจอเธออีกปีหน้า

6 เขาต้องการเรียนภาษาสเปน
