The visa fee is mandatory for all visa applications unless you are within the exemption categories.

The visa fee, only collectable in BAHT, may change as a result of currency fluctuation.

The visa fee is fixed in EUR but payable only in BAHT. The exchange rate between these currencies is decided by the Consular Authority and is updated periodically, therefore the amount you are requested to pay may differ from those quoted above.

The service fee, mandatory for any visa application, is 1,382 THB. This amount has been decided in agreement with the Consular Authority and corresponds to the different services provided by the TLScontact centre (i.e. visa application reception, data processing, information collection, appointments booking, etc.).

TLScontact accepts payment by: Mobile Online Payment, Cash and Debit / Credit card.

Additional fee of 100 THB / applicant will be charged for any Card Payment.

The following categories do not have to pay the visa application fees:

• French citizen with dual nationality;
• Short stay for children under six years of age;
• Nationals from Armenia* and Azerbaijan under 12 years old;
• Foreign spouse of French citizen;
• Foreign relative of a citizen from other EU/EEA countries or a citizen with Swiss nationality;
• Foreigners wishing go to France for professional purposes (Seasonal worker through ANAEM process);
• Foreigners wishing go to France for professional purposes (Foreign language teacher or assistant);
• Foreign French language teacher (excluding family members);
• Researcher traveling within the European Union (short stay) for scientific research purposes;
• Teacher accompanying pupils and students during visits to France for the purpose of a school trip or educational training;
• Pupils in primary or secondary school and their accompanying teachers going to France under a school exchange program, for the purpose of a school trip or for educational training;
• Student or postgraduate student going to France for the purpose of a school trip or educational training;
• Holder of a French government scholarship;
• Holder of a scholarship from a foreign government, foreign foundation or beneficiaries of Community Programs;
• Holder of diplomatic passport and/ or service passport;
• Individual invited by international organizations based in France;
• Beneficiary of a headquarter agreement;
• For family members (spouse, children, parents, grand parents, grand children) of Georgian nationals who are legally residing in France (on the submission of the proof of the family relationship and copy of the French resident permit of the family member living in France);
• Veteran who has been granted free medical care going to France for medical treatment (excluding family members).
