🎤 Lyrics: Once Upon A Time Max Oazo & Moonessa
It’s been a couple years since I’ve seen your face
Wondering what your up to now
Yea my head is still up in space
I guess it never came down
It’s been a couple years since I’ve seen your face
Wondering what your up to now
Yea my head is still up in space
I guess it never came down
We were ridin’ through the night
The moon was on our side
Once upon a time
Once upon a time
As high as the stars in the sky
Crossing all the lines
Once upon a time
Once upon a time
Do you recall all the promises
We used to make back then
Can you tell me are they still on
Or is that silly of me to think
The years I find separate us
I think of you now and then
Won’t let memories fade to dust
Baby remember when
We were ridin’ through the night
The moon was on our side
Once upon a time
Once upon a time
As high as the stars in the sky
Crossing all the lines
Once upon a time
Once upon a time
We were ridin’ through the night
The moon was on our side
Once upon a time
Once upon a time
As high as the stars in the sky
Crossing all the lines
Once upon a time
Once upon a time

The Web of Life (Interdependence of all things) by Alan Watts

Alan Watts was a master at coaching others on how to live fully NOW in the present moment. If you like The Power of Now, The Four Agreements, and The Art of Happiness by the Dalai Lama, and you’re interested in how to stop being stressed and start living an abundant life, you should listed to this recording.
Also helpful to Helpful for Law of Attraction and the Everything Game. And sometimes just fun to play at a party and chill with Alan Watts on in the background. Other speakers known for these mind expanding topics are Eckhart Tolle, Jim Carrey, Charles Bukowski, Ram Dass, and Terence McKenna.
Many of the concepts Alan Watts discusses share points of view with the likes of Marcus Aurelius, Seneca and other stoic philosophers as wells as ancient Zen Buddhist, Taoist, Hindu and Christian theologians.
Watts, along with many of his cohorts were known for exploring various ways of expanding the mind including LSD and other psychedelic substances. LSD was not banned in the US until 1967 so experimenting with it before that time would not have the same illegal connotations that it would have in today’s America.

Some background from wikipedia:
Alan Wilson Watts was a British philosopher, writer, and speaker, best known as an interpreter and populariser of Eastern philosophy for a Western audience. Born in Chislehurst, England, he moved to the United States in 1938 and began Zen training in New York. Pursuing a career, he attended SeaburyWestern Theological Seminary, where he received a master’s degree in theology. Watts became an Episcopal priest in 1945, then left the ministry in 1950 and moved to California, where he joined the faculty of the American Academy of Asian Studies.
Watts gained a large following in the San Francisco Bay Area while working as a volunteer programmer at KPFA, a Pacifica Radio station in Berkeley. Watts wrote more than 25 books and articles on subjects important to Eastern and Western religion, introducing the thenburgeoning youth culture to The Way of Zen (1957), one of the first bestselling books on Buddhism. In Psychotherapy East and West (1961), Watts proposed that Buddhism could be thought of as a form of psychotherapy and not a religion. He considered Nature, Man and Woman (1958) to be, \”from a literary point of view—the best book I have ever written.\” He also explored human consciousness, in the essay \”The New Alchemy\” (1958), and in the book The Joyous Cosmology (1962).

Quantum Rounding Error – Nowhere Dub by Warp Technique

Trailblazing is in our DNA. At first blush the “nowhere” refrain in this song is just a nihilistic anthem, however in the context of quantum mechanics and the coming applied technology of quantum computing it stands for “nowhere that can be known.” The Shrödinger Equation has been taught for almost a century and confirms Werner Heisenberg’s observation that the universe is stranger than we can imagine.

It seems improbable that such a nebulous phenomenon as the uncertainty principle could be harnessed as a decision gate at the core of the computing process. But that is what is happening and because the speed of such computing will be exponentially faster than the current digitalonly technology it will be a disruptive new artifact to change the world yet again. No doubt its uses will be applied across the spectrum of purposes, including medicine, product development, entertainment, weapons development and social engineering to name just a few.

An important subtheme of this mosaic riddle is the speculation that our incessant drive to the limits of understanding comes from a religious impulse of our collective unconscious.

The song Nowhere Dub by Warp Technique is from the Make Animals Happy album. Their signature music is available on iTunes and elsewhere.

For those viewers looking for a brief but deeper dive into Quantum Computing, here is a link to a good summary video of 2007 by Hartmut Neven (now in charge of Google’s AI research) which is one of the many sources for this video collage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I56UugZ_8DI&t=1252s

It is not always practical in a video collage to list all source material, however a major inspiration for this one is the landmark movie Home: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqxENMKaeCU&t=1232s (The homeproject channel has the movie in several languages.)

Here is the acoustic content in text form for easier translation. Some sources are listed to aid research:
Wah!
Wow!
We continue our series on trailblazers.
(John Mahama, Former President of Ghana quoting Ronal Regan) Open this gate!
(Hartmut Neven, Quantum Computing Scientist) And this is called the tunneling effect.
Time passes. Listen!
There is still a finite probability of finding your particle outside of the well.
Here we go.
Wait a minute! What are you doing?
(Singer) Slowly, slowly…
(Whispering) Purpose.
(Singer) More and more.
It has properties of both.
(Singer) I have the feeling that we are getting nowhere… And then more and more…
Because we’re going to return to this question.
(Singer) And now again…
Actually in Quantum Mechanics the way to think of a gate…
(Singer) We are having the pleasure…
For let’s say…
A fraction of a second.
(Singer) Of being slowly, slowly…
It’s just Schrodinger equation doing its job.
(Singer) Nowhere…
It suddenly becomes evident…
(Singer) If anybody is sleepy let him go to sleep.
And again…
A peace the world cannot give…
Grows as 2 to the power of n. In one clock cycle you can act on 2 to the n basis states. Now that’s fun.
Meanwhile…
So this is something beyond digital or analog. It’s not either or. It has properties of both.
Schrodinger’s cat was supposed to show that nothing in this universe is certain until someone makes a measurement.
There we go. OK.
The way you are, you can hear their dreams.
We love this. It is intoxicating and exhilarating. Wait a minute! What are you doing?
Become aware of the thought process itself.
One of the things that keeps me curious and fascinated is that…
It was a population too narcoticized by undisguised trivialities to engage…
OK.
…as responsible citizens.
(Marshall McLuhan, Media Sage and Author) Ordinary perceptions are deliberately deadened to permit life to be bearable.
And that leads him to adopt an interim belief. A Qbit is not an analog nor a digital thing. It’s something in between. Before it’s measured the state itself is obviously an analog entity. But when I measure it I will only get two outcomes, it’s in state 0 or 1, which is eminently digital.
This is my gift.
Other transformative uses.
Really?
What does that mean?
(Dr. Leon Festinger, Experimental Psychologist) You might look at the Ten Commandments as an example of what were the major transgressions of that day.
An age where trade and interaction amongst people of the world would spread prosperity across the globe.
Of simple design and with very few moving parts…
(Singer) Slowly, slowly…
Truly, anything is possible.
(Singer) More and more.
This circuitry is terribly upsetting.
(Singer) I have the feeling…
Oh, it’s fascinating!
(Singer) That we are getting nowhere…
He drives people crazy!
(Ashim Ottama, Swiss Buddhist Monk and Teacher) This is perhaps a little complicated.
(Singer) And then more and more…
(See the comment below for the remainder of the acoustic content as it would not fit in this field of limited size.)
