Firstly, it is important to know that there are three words (in the nominative singular case) for \”the\” in Old English. \r
\r
These are are : se (masculine), séo (feminine) and þæt (neuter)\r
\r
Another important feature is that there is no word for \”a\” or \”an\” in Old English. Therefore \”se ƿer\” means \”the man\” and \”ƿer\” means \”man\” or \”a man\”\r

earon is used in Mercian and Northumbrian dialect (midlands and the north), \r
sind, or sindon, is used in the Wessex (southern) dialect.

ถ้าเราเห็นหนูหนึ่งตัว เราก็บอกว่า “I saw a mouse.” แต่ถ้ามีหนู 3 ตัวล่ะ? เราจะต้องใช้คำว่าอะไร? ระหว่าง

b. I saw 3 mice.
คำนามเอกพจน์ คำนามพหูพจน์ โอ๊ย แค่ได้ยินแค่ชื่อก็มึนหัวจะตายอยู่แล้ว! เช่น apple ถ้ามีมากกว่าหนึ่งลูกก็เปลี่ยนเป็น apples แต่รู้หรือเปล่า? โลกเราไม่ได้ง่ายแบบนั้นเสมอไป เพราะมีสิ่งที่เรียกว่า irregular plural noun อยู่ มันคืออะไร? มีอะไรบ้าง? วันนี้พี่คะน้า รุ่นพี่วิทยาลัยนานาชาติ ม.มหิดล จะมายกตัวอย่างคำนามที่เปลี่ยนรูป เปลี่ยนจนบางทีเราจำไม่ได้ ไปดูกันเลยดีกว่า

กริยาที่เป็นเอกพจน์ มี is, was, does, has, walk
กริยาที่เป็นพหูพจน์ มี are am , were, do, have, walks
