Hello, today I’m going to teach you about English Tenses. You have known already about Tenses in English. We have The Present Tense, The Past Tense and The Future Tense. In each tense has Simple, Continuous, Perfect and Perfect Continuous.
In this video I’m going to take only one of them to teach you. It’s about The Present Simple with I, You, We, They. I’m going to tell you about its definition and forms: Positive, Negative and Questions.
In English Grammar, the Present Simple is an action that expresses about daily activities and facts or real things. For example, we get up, we go to bathroom, we clean house, we get dressed, … all daily activities are used in the Present Simple. The facts or real things like I am a teacher or I come from Cambodia, the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. So all here are real.
Forms:
Positive: Subject + Verb1 + Object
Negative: Subject + do not + Verb1 + Object
Question: Do + Subject + Verb1 + Object?
