The Little Mermaid is a 1989 American animated feature produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and based on the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale of the same name. Distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, the film was originally released to theaters on November 17, 1989 and is the twentyeighth film in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series. During its initial release, The Little Mermaid grossed over $84 million in the United States and an additional $99 million internationally.[3]\r

The film is given credit for breathing life back into the animated feature film genre after a string of critical or commercial failures that dated back to the early 1980s. It also marked the start of the era known as the Disney Renaissance.\r

A stage adaptation of the film with a book by Doug Wright[4] and additional songs by Alan Menken and new lyricist Glenn Slater opened in Denver in July 2007 and began performances on Broadway.[5]\r

Happy New Year Sweethearts!
I want to start off this year with something special. Last year I wrote to James Charles and asked him if he would like to do a lesson with me.

We spent 2 amazing days together and recorded a beautiful lesson of James finding his confidence and real voice singing Lewis Capaldi’s SOMEONE YOU LOVED!
My friendship with James has changed my life. He is so humble, dedicated, motivated and no matter how much he has been criticized for his singing in the past, he NEVER gave up.
I hope that this sets an example for all singers who have so much more talent than they realize and really want to improve and become better singers.
I’m happy to share the second part of my lesson with James Charles, who changed my life and continues to inspire me every single day. Hope you enjoy it!
