โครงการ Work & Travel
คือโครงการที่รัฐบาลสหรัฐอเมริกา เปิดโอกาสในนักศึกษา ที่กำลังเรียนอยู่ในระดับปริญญาตรี รวมถึงปริญญาโท ได้ใช้เวลาว่างในช่วงปิดเทอมให้เกิดประโยชน์
จากการทำงาน PART TIME ง
จากการทำงาน PART TIME ง
านก็จะเป็นประเภทงานบริการ ตามสวนสนุก รีสอร์ท ร้านอาหาร หรือร้านค้าต่างๆเช่น
McDonalds, Grand Canyon, Disney World, Six Flags
นักศึกษาจะสามารถเข้าร่วมโครงการ เพื่อไปทำงานตามที่ทำงานต่างในสหรัฐอเมริกา เป็นระยะเวลาไม่เกิน 3-4 เดือน
โดยได้รับค่าแรงเท่ากับคนที่นู่นด้วย อยู่ที่ประมาณ 7 – 10 ดอลลาร์ต่อชั่วโมง
หลังจากทำงานเสร็จแล้ว ก็ยังสามารถท่องเที่ยวในสหรัฐอเมริกาได้ไม่เกิน 30 วัน จึงเป็นที่มาของชื่อ Work and Travel
เมื่อพูดถึงการไปต่างประเทศ เราจะเสียค่าตั๋ว ค่าเอเจนซี่ ค่าpocket money บลาๆๆ ทางเราจึงทำการยกตัวอย่างค่าใช้จ่ายและเงินกำไรที่ได้จากการ work
ค่าใช้จ่ายจากโครงการ Work and Travel 50,000- 80,000 บาทและมีค่าใช้จ่ายเพิ่มเติม
ดังนี้ ค่า VISA Package จำนวน 8,500 บาท ค่าตั๋วเครื่องบิน 35,000-50,000 บาท (*ขึ้นอยู่กับสายการบิน เมือง หรือรัฐ) ค่าใช้จ่ายในการเลือกงาน แบ่งเป็น 2 แบบ คือ Mini Premium Location 4,000 บาท และ Premium Location 8,000 บาท ซึ่งหากนักศึกษาสนใจร่วมโครงการกับ บริษัท อเมริกัน เลิร์นนิ่ง จำกัดนี้ ต้องใช้เงินรวมทั้งหมด 125,500-144,500 บาท ทั้งนี้ ยังต้องมีค่า Pocket Money และค่าใช้จ่ายอื่นๆ สำรองส่วนตัวก่อนได้รับค่าจ้างประมาณ 1,500$ หรือประมาณ 46,950 บาท
ค่าจ้างงานในอเมริกามีค่าแรงขั้นต่ำ 7-10 $ ต่อชั่วโมง หรือประมาณ 288 บาทต่อชั่วโมง ทีมข่าวลองคิดคำนวณค่าแรงที่ควรจะได้ พบว่าจากเงินที่นักศึกษาจ่ายเพื่อเข้าร่วมโครงการ Work and Travel จำนวนแสนกว่าบาทนั้น เมื่อเทียบกับจำนวนค่าแรงแล้วไม่คุ้มนัก หากแต่จะคุ้มค่าก็ต่อเมื่อนักศึกษา ไม่กิน ไม่เที่ยวเลย ซึ่งค่าจ้างงานในอเมริกาแต่ละประเภท (ประมาณ 30-40 ชั่วโมงต่อสัปดาห์) เฉลี่ยอยู่ที่ 7-10$ ต่อชั่วโมง หรือประมาณ 224-320 บาทต่อชั่วโมง ระยะเวลาทำงาน 2 เดือนครึ่ง-4 เดือน
ตัวอย่างเช่น ถ้าทำ 30-40 ชั่วโมงต่อสัปดาห์
เฉลี่ยตกวันละ 4-6 ชั่วโมง
ค่าแรงต่อวัน 812-1,878 บาท
ค่าแรงต่อสัปดาห์ 6,090-12,520 บาท
ค่าแรงต่อเดือน 24,360-50,080 บาท
ค่าแรง 2 เดือนครึ่ง 60,900-125,200 บาท
ค่าแรงรวม 4 เดือน 97,440-200,320 บาท (* ยังไม่หักค่าใช้จ่ายส่วนตัวและค่าที่พัก)

ซึ่งค่าใช้จ่ายที่อเมริกาก็คุ้มค่ากับค่าแรงค่ะ ดิฉันคิดว่า ราคาอาหารของที่โน้นกับที่ไทยก็ไม่ต่างกันมาก ค่าแรงและค่าครองชีพมันสมดุลกันรวมถึงสวัสดิการแห่งรัฐดีกว่าที่ไทยมากค่ะ พวกเรามา #ย้ายประเทศกันเถอะ

30. อยาก Stop Over ต้องทำอย่างไรบ้าง ?
ก่อนอื่นก็เลือกสายการบินนะ
Korean air , Asiana airlines : ให้ stop over ที่เกาหลี โดยที่ Asiana จะแพงกว่า Korean
เนื่องจากไม่มีราคาตั๋วนักเรียน และเป็นสายการบินระดับ 5 ดาว
อีกทั้งระหว่างการรอเปลี่ยนเครื่องที่เกิน 6 ชั่วโมง Asiana ยังมีบริการพิเศษ
ให้เลือกระหว่าง city tour กับโรงแรมให้คุณพักผ่อน
All Nippon Air , Delta , American airline : stop over ที่ญี่ปุ่น
EVA air : stop over ที่ไต้หวัน
Cathay Pacific : stop over ที่ฮ่องกง
British airways , Turkish air : stop over ที่อังกฤษ
โดยคุณต้องถามเอเจนซี่สำหรับกฏระเบียบการ stop over
ส่วน Turkish ที่ว่า stop over ที่อังกฤษนั้น ให้สอบถามกฏระเบียบ เงื่อนไขปีต่อปี
ซึ่งเมื่อหลายปีก่อน Turkish air ไม่ให้ทำการ stop over แต่ปีที่แล้วเค้าเปลี่ยนแปลง
ให้เลือก stop over ได้ สำหรับปีนี้ ไปติดตามข่าวสารกันเอง
สำหรับ Nakoze มีประสบการณ์บินไปอเมริกากับ 2 สายการบินคือ KE และ OZ
หากท่านหวังจะ stop over ที่เกาหลี ให้ถามเอเจนซี่เอาว่าจะต้องจ่ายเพิ่มเท่าไร
โดยปกติสายการบินอย่าง KE , OZ จะให้ stop over ฟรี 1 ครั้ง
แล้วมากกว่า 1 ครั้งได้ไหม ? ตอบ ได้ค่ะ แต่ต้องเพิ่มเงิน เท่าไรก็ว่าไป
ซึ่งบางเอเจน ค่าตั๋วเค้าไม่แพง แต่เค้ามาหากินกับค่า stop over
ดังนั้นแล้วหากเค้าเก็บค่า stop over แพงเกิน 2,000 ก็ให้เอะใจได้เลยจ้า
แต่ถ้าถามจากหลายๆเอเจนแล้วมันแพงกว่า 2,000 หมดทุกที่ อันนี้ก็แสดงว่า
เค้าอาจจะปรับราคาหรืออะไรก็แล้วแต่

Starship is a heavylift transportation system that SpaceX is developing to take 100 people or load 100 tons of cargo to the moon, Mars, and other deepspace destinations. The system was selected in April to assist NASA with its Artemis moonlanding program, although the contract has been mired in controversy and is now on pause during a lawsuit. It has a total launch mass of over six million six hundred and thirteen thousand eight hundred and sixtyseven pounds, and employs super cooled liquid methane and liquid oxygen ch4 lox as fuel.
In the past, when a spacecraft needed to return to Earth, engineers used parachutes or designed the spacecraft’s core so that it could land on the runway. SpaceX, on the other hand, took a different approach.
When the constellation is ready to descend it will enter the atmosphere at a 60degree angle and then operate a kind of belly flop on Earth’s surface in a horizontal position. This return method relies entirely on the atmosphere to slow the descent of the ship.
As an added deceleration factor, four steel landing flaps are installed near the front and rear of the aircraft to control its descent.
Instead of using carbon fiber, Musk claimed in 2019 that the spacecraft would be made of stainless steel since he is obsessed with steel.
Stainless steel is much cheaper than carbonfiber material. While the cost of carbon fiber in 2020 was already more than $130,000 a tonne, the cost of steel was only $25,000 a tonne.
Moreover, steel has other important advantages as well. stainless steel handles heat far better than carbon composites do, and that’s crucial for the reusable Starship and Super Heavy, both of which will be making many highly energetic trips through Earth’s atmosphere, both up and down.
While many people still think that steel is too heavy, this is a misconception. It is actually one of the lightest designs and according to Musk was the best construction solution.
Originally the Starship prototype used 301 stainless steel which is a mixture of nickelchromium and iron. This material is extremely resilient to corrosion and is much cheaper than carbon fiber in the way most spacecraft today think of it.
This simply wasn’t enough considering that Musk’s plans include about 1,000 launches and landings per year. The spacecraft needs to be as resilient as possible to sudden changes in temperature, plus the material plan for the engines installed on the ship has changed since 2019.
The first was six reusable Raptor engines to consume metal locks which are a mixture of methane and oxygen, the number of which will soon be increased to 7. It’s also worth noting that the Raptor managed to reach a pressure of 269 bar (3900 psi). Year record of the Russian rd180 engine capable of withstanding a pressure of 258 bar (3725 psi).
Also, the physical dimensions of the Raptor are not much larger than SpaceX’s Merlin engines installed on the Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy. If this trend of gradual power growth continues, the Raptor will be revolutionary in space travel.
The number of Raptor engines installed on the Super Heavy has also changed. Initially, 35 were installed, and then this number was reduced to 31. They have since increased again, but only to 37 locomotives.
