[NEW] Present Simple | present simple คือ อะไร – NATAVIGUIDES
ปัจจุปันกาลอย่างง่ายๆ (หรือเปล่า!?)
Requirements:
ทำความเข้าใจกันก่อน
Verbs ทั้งหลายแหล่
Verb to be ปะทะ Verb to do
Syntax(รูปแบบ)
Subject+
Verb(1)
+Complement
Syntaxin-depth
ในประโยคนี้เราจะใช้ verb ช่องหนึ่ง (Infinitive) ซึ่งจะมี verb to be (is, am, are), verb to do (do, verb1) and modal verbs.
Time Signature
Everyday, everyweek, every***, once a day, twice a week, 3 times a day, always, sometimes, never เป็นต้น
Time Signaturein-depth
Verb to be in Present Simple:
Verb to be ในกรณีนี้ใช้ 3 ตัว นั่นคือ is am และ are ลองดูตัวอย่างนะ:
1. I am an engineer. ฉันเป็นวิศวะ (บอกอาชีพ)
2. Dr.K is at The Mall. ด็อกฯเคอยู่ที่เดอะมอล (อยู่ที่ใหน)
3. Today is Sunday. วันนี้เป็นวันอาทิตย์ (ความเป็นจริง)
4. She is hungry. หล่อนหิวข้าว (ความรู้สึก)
5. Thailand is a very hot country. ประเทศไทยเป็นประเทศที่ร้อนมาก (ธรรมชาติ)
6. Those are my shoes. พวกนั้นเป็นรองเท้าของฉัน (เป็นของใคร)
นะ… สังเกตุใหมว่าประโยค verb to be ทั้งหลายนั้นไม่ต้องการคำบอกเวลา เพราะว่า พวกมันเป็นความจริงตลอดอยู่แล้ว
ลองมาดูรูปแบบของประโยคบอกเล่า (Affirmative) ปฏิเสธ (Negative) และ คำถาม(Question) กัน:
Affirmative
I
am
a student
These
are
my shoes
Dr.K
is
Thai
Negative
I
am
not
a student
These
are
not
my shoes
Dr.K
is
not
Thai
Question
Are
you a student?
Are
these your shoes?
Is
Dr.K Thai?
Verb to do in Present Simple:
Verb to do ใน Present Simple ใช้ do, does(กรณี 3rd Person) และ verbช่องหนึ่ง เช่น
1. I go to school everyday. ฉันไปโรงเรียนทุกวัน
2. We always watch movies together. พวกเราดูหนังด้วยกันตลอด
3. My friends and I play football at Rama 3 every Thursday.
ฉันกับเพื่อนๆเล่นบอลกันที่พระรามสามทุกๆวันพฤหัสฯ
ลองมาดูรูปแบบของประโยคบอกเล่า (Affirmative) ปฏิเสธ (Negative) และ คำถาม(Question) กัน:
Affirmative
I
go to
school
everyday
I
do
my work
every evening
They
have
a big house
Negative
I
do not go to
school
everyday
I
do not do
my work
every evening
They
do not have
a big house
Question
Do
you
go
to
school
everyday
?
Do
you
do
your work
every evening
?
Do
they
have
a big house?
สังเกตุนะว่าในประโยคปฏิเสธ เราจะต้องเติม do not เข้าไป ไม่ใช่เติม not หลังกริยานะ
แต่เราสามารถเติม do เข้าไปในประโยคบอกเล่าได้เพื่อเน้นหรือยืนกรานกับอะไรสักอย่าง
เช่น:
I go to school everyday. “ฉันไปโรงเรียนทุกวัน”
Hey, I do go to school everyday. “นี่.. ฉันไปโรงเรียนทุกวันนะ แสรดด”
…is a tree. (เป็นต้น อิๆๆๆ)
Singular Third Person
และอย่าลืมว่าใน Present Simple ถ้าประธานเป็น Singular third person (เอกพจน์บุคคลที่สาม) เช่น he, she, it, Ken, my dad ฯลฯ แล้วละก็, verb ต้องเติม ‘S’ หรือ ‘ES’ นะ เช่น
1. She sometimes goes to Chieng Mai. เธอไปเชียงใหม่เป็นบางครั้ง
2. My mom cooks me dinner every evening. หม่าม้าทำกับข้าวให้ฉันกินทุกเย็น
3. Dr.K always finishes his work on time. เคทำงานเสร็จตรงเวลาเสมอ
Affirmative
My father
works
in an office.
Ken
does
his homework
every night
.
Benny
has
a very big house.
Negative
My father
does not work
in an office.
Ken
does not do
his homework
every night
.
Benny
does not have
a very big house.
Question
Does
your father
work
in an office?
Does
Ken
do
his homework
every night
?
Does
Benny
have
a very big house?
สังเกตุดีๆนะว่าในประโยคปฏิเสธและคำถามนั้นเราจะไม่เติม -s ให้กับกริยาทุกตัว แต่เราจะเติม -es ให้ do เท่านั้น
ทำไมหน่ะหรือ? เพราะว่า:
ในหนึ่งประโยค กริยาสามารถเปลี่ยนได้เพียงตัวเดียวเท่านั้น – สำคัญมากนะ ตัวอย่าง:
My father does not work in an office. – จะเห็นว่าประโยคนี้ do เปลี่ยนเป็น does แล้ว, work เลยไม่ต้องเปลี่ยนรูป (ไม่ต้องเติม -s) นั่นเองจ้ะ
Benny does not have a very big house. – เช่นกันนะ ในประโยคนี้เราควรจะต้องใช้ has กับ Benny เพราะว่า Benny เป็น Singular Third Person แต่ทว่าในประโยคนี้เราได้เติม -es ให้กับ do แล้ว, have เลยไม่ต้องเปลี่ยนรูปเป็น has นั่นเอง
…ก็สมควรละเนอะ ไม่งั้นประโยคที่มีกริยาหลายตัวคงลำบาก เพราะต้องมานั่งเปลียนกันทุกตัว
***กฏการเติม -s หรือ -es:***
เราลองมาศึกษากฏของการเติม -s หรือ -es กันดีกว่า
กฏข้อแรกเลย คือ “ถ้ากริยาลงท้ายด้วย -y ให้ตัด -y ทิ้งแล้วเติม -ies” เช่น
study -> studies
fly -> flies
carry -> carries
กฏที่สอง คือ “ถ้ากริยาลงท้ายด้วย -y แต่มีสระนำหน้า -y ให้เติม -s ได้เลย” เช่น
say -> says
enjoy -> enjoys
buy -> buys
กฏที่สาม คือ “ถ้ากริยาลงท้ายด้วย -o ให้เติม -es” เช่น
do -> does
go -> goes
echo -> echoes
กฏที่สี่ คือ “ถ้ากริยาลงท้ายด้วย ” -ch,-s, -ss,-sh, -x หรือ -z ให้เติม -es”
**รู้ครับว่าต้องจำเยอะ แต่จำว่ามันลงท้ายด้วยเสียง ส ช หรือ ซ*** เช่น
pass -> passes
push -> pushes
watch -> watches
fix -> fixes
buzz -> buzzes
…และที่เหลือ สามารถเติม -s ได้เลย ^.^
Modal Verb Usage
Requirement: Verbs ทั้งหลายแหล่
นะ… ถ้าจำได้ว่าพวกมันคืออะไร เราควรจะสร้างประโยคเป็นภาษาไทยก่อนนะ แล้วพอแปลเป็นอังกฤษแล้วเราจะได้รู้ว่าเราควรจะใช้ Modal Verbs ใหม อย่าลืมนะว่า ก่อนที่เราจะสร้างประโยคในภาษาที่เราไม่คุ้นเคยได้แม่นยำแล้วนั้น เราจำเป็นต้องสร้างประโยคในภาษาแม่ของเราให้ได้อย่างถูกต้องและแม่นยำเสียก่อน “Before one can even constuct a verse in a foreign language, one must first know how to construct such a verse perfectly in their own language”-Dr.K นะครับ (แอบพอใจเล็กน้อยกับ quote ของตัวเอง)
–โอวว Dr.K เลิกแพล่มได้แล้วว
ยกตัวอย่างเช่น:
ฉันควรจะเข้านอนเร็วทุกๆคืน – เอาหล่ะ ตอนนี้เรารู้ว่า ควรจะ เป็น modal verb ฉะนั้นประโยคนี้ก็จะมีการใช้ modal verb ซึ่งประโยคจะออกมาเป็นเช่นนี้:
I should go to bed early everynight.
อย่าลืมว่า modal verb จะใช้ควบคู่กับ verb ช่อง1, ในที่นี้เราใช้ เข้านอน – go to bed
ในการใช้ modal verbs เราควรจะรู้อยู่แล้วว่าเราจะไม่ใช้ do หรือ does ในประโยคปฏิเสธและคำถาม เพราะว่าพวกมันสามารถนำไปใช้ได้เลยในรูปแบบของปฏิเสธและคำถาม:
I should not go to bed early everynight. และ
Should I go to bed early everynight?
ที่สำคัญเลย modal verb เป็นกริยาที่ไม่ต้องเติม -s ในกรณีของ Singular 3rd person นะจ๊ะ
He can drive a truck. นะ ไม่ใช่ He cans drive a truck.
Affirmative
Dr.K
can swim
fast.
I
would go to
the temple
every Sunday
.
Negative
Dr.K
cannot swim
fast.
I
would not go to
the temple
every Sunday
Question
Can
Dr.K
swim
fast?
Would
you
go to
the temple
every Sunday
?
