– SINCE + mốc thời gian (cụm danh từ/ mệnh đề chia Quá khứ đơn)

– FOR + khoảng thời gian

Exemple :

He has called the hospital, the ambulance is coming.
He’s called the hospital, the ambulance is coming.
Il vient d’appeler l’hôpital, l’ambulance arrive.

Attention aux verbes irréguliers ! Leur participe passé prend des formes variées.

Exemples :

You have run away.
You’ve run away.
Tu t’es enfui.

He has thrown the ball.
He’s thrown the ball.

➝ sujet + have (+ adverbe) + participe passé + complément de phrase

Exemples :

I have just bought a new car.
I’ve just bought a new car.
Je viens d’acheter une nouvelle voiture.

We have changed since we left our country.
We’ve changed since we left our country.

mot interrogatif + auxiliaire have + (adverbe +) sujet + participe passé + complément de phrase
➝ auxiliaire have + (adverbe +) sujet + participe passé + complément de phrase

Exemples :

Who has bought this car?
Who’s bought this car?
Qui a acheté cette voiture ?

Have you already watched this movie?
As-tu déjà visionné ce film ?

La forme négative

Pour former une phrase négative au present perfect, il faut ajouter le mot de négation not après l’auxiliaire have. Voici la structure à utiliser :

➝ sujet + auxiliaire have + not + participe passé + complément de phrase

Ces formes peuvent être contractées :

  1. have not ➝ haven’t
  2. has not ➝ hasn’t

Exemples :

They have not seen each other in a while.
They haven’t seen each other in a while.

She has not eaten meat since she read this book.
She hasn’t eaten meat since she read this book.

Exemples :

They have painted the house. It is pink now.
Ils ont paint la maison. Elle est rose maintenant.

The house has been painted. It is pink now.

➝ objet + has been + participe passé + by + agent
➝ objet + has been + participe passé

Exemples :

The house has recently been decorated by an interior designer. It looks a lot more modern.

The house has recently been decorated. It looks a lot more modern.

I have
You have
He / she / it has
We have
You have
They have

Remarques

forget ➝ forgotten
see ➝ seen
run ➝ run

Exemples :

They have lived in London since 1979.
Ils vivent à Londres depuis 1979.

She has known Sara for 4 years.

Notez l’emploi de since et for.
For permet d’exprimer une durée.

Exemples :

I’ve just cut my finger. It’s bleeding.
Je viens de me couper le doigt. Il saigne.

I’ve lost my wallet! I can’t pay the taxi.

Exemple :

He has done his homework.

Exemple :

He did his homework during the weekend..

Exemples :

They’ve watched all the Harry Potter.
Ils ont regardé tous les Harry Potter.

He has travelled to India many times.

formulation : it’s the first time …

5. Avec certains adverbes : just, already, never, ever, yet, etc.

Exemples :

Have you ever been to Japan?
Es-tu déjà allé(e) au Japon ?

She has never swum in the sea.

I have already bought the tickets for the concert.

We haven’t met the director yet.

6. Avec la formulation “This is the first time …”

Exemple :

This is the first time she’s been so mad at her brother.

Exemples :

Iris has lived here her whole life.
Iris a vécu sa vie entière ici.

Iris lived her whole life here.

Exemples :

He has run 15 kilometers today. Now, he is tired.
Il a couru 15 kilomètres aujourd’hui. Maintenant, il est fatigué.

He has been running for five hours. He will be exhausted.

1. Par le présent

Avec les prépositions : for, since et just.

Exemples :

They have lived in London since 1979.
Ils vivent à Londres depuis 1979.

I’ve just cut my finger. It’s bleeding.
Je viens de me couper le doigt. Il saigne.

2. Par le passé composé

Lorsque vous faites un bilan.

Exemples :

He has travelled to India many times.
Il a souvent voyagé en Inde.

Iris has lived here her whole life.
Iris a vécu sa vie entière ici.

3. Par le futur

Avec les locutions : by the time, as soon as, after, until, once, when.

Exemples :

As soon as I’ve saved 2500€, I’ll go on holiday.

After they have finished their road trip, they will return to work.
