ระบบการชำระเงินแบบอิเล็กทรอนิกส์(E-Payment)
ในชีวิตประจำวันของประชาชนมีความเกี่ยวข้องกับการชำระเงินอยู่ทุกวัน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการชำระเงินเพื่อซื้อสินค้า/บริการ การโอนเงิน หรือการทำธุรกรรมการเงินอื่นใด การขยายตัวของเศรษฐกิจและความก้าวหน้าทางเทคโนโลยีเป็นปัจจัยที่ส่งผลให้การบริการด้านการชำระเงินมีการพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่องโดยรูปแบบการชำระเงินมีความหลากหลายและซับซ้อนมากขึ้น การให้บริการมีความรวดเร็วและคล่องตัวมากขึ้นสอดคล้องกับความต้องการของภาคธุรกิจและประชาชน และมีผู้ให้บริการรายใหม่ๆ เกิดขึ้น รวมทั้งมีการนำเอากระบวนการชำระเงินเข้าไปในระบบอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ หรือเรียกกันว่า ระบบการชำระเงินแบบอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (E-Payment)
Electronic Payment system (ระบบชำระเงินอิเล็กทรอนิกส์) คือ กระบวนการส่งมอบหรือโอนสื่อการชำระเงินเพื่อชำระราคา โดยผ่านสื่ออิเล็กทรอนิกส์ เช่น อินเทอร์เน็ต คอมพิวเตอร์ ระบบสื่อสารโทรคมนาคม โทรสาร โทรศัพท์มือถือ เป็นต้น
ขั้นตอนการชำระเงิน
- ตกลงซื้อสินค้า กรอกข้อมูลบัตรเครดิต *ข้อมูลส่วนนี้ทางร้านไม่สามารถเห็นได้
- ส่งข้อมูลไปยัง Acquiring Bang (ธนาคารที่ฝ่ายร้านค้าใช้บริการอยู่)
3.Acquiring Bang ทำการตรวจสอบมายังธนาคารผู้ออกบัตร ว่าบัตรเป็นของจริงและสามารถใช้ได้
4.Acquiring Bang ทำการเรียกเก็บเงินจากธนาคารผู้ออกบัตรz
- ธนาคารผู้ออกบัตรโอนเงินไปยัง Acquiring Bang เข้าสู่บัญชีร้านค้า
- ส่งข้อมูลการชำระกลับไปยังร้านค้า
- ร้านค้าส่งข้อมูลการชำระกลับไปยังลูกค้า เพื่อยืนยันการสั่งซื้อ
(E-Payment) มีกระบวนการการชำระเงินด้วยบัตรเครดิตบนอินเตอร์เน็ต ซึ่งเป็นที่นิยมกันมากที่สุด ดังนี้
- สั่งซื้อและส่งข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับบัตรเครดิตไปให้ผู้ขาย
- ผู้ขายยืนยันส่งข้อมูลการสั่งซื้อกลับมายังผู้ซื้อ
- ผู้ขายรับข้อมูลการสั่งซื้อ(มองไม่เห็นเลขบัตรเครดิต)
- ผู้ขายส่งข้อมูล Encrypted Payment ไปยังเครื่องบริการด้านการจ่ายเงินทาง online (Cyber Cash Server)
5.Cyber Cash Server รับข้อมูลผ่านทาง Fire wall ถอดรหัสข้อมูลลูกค้าและส่งไปยังธนาคารผู้ขายและผู้ซื้อ
- ธนาคารผู้ขายร้องขอให้ธนาคารผู้ซื้อรับจ่ายเงินตามจำนวนเงินตามยอดบัตรเครดิต
- ธนาคารผู้ซื้อตรวจสอบข้อมูล แล้วส่งกลับไปว่าอนุมัติหรือไม่ และ transfer ยอดเงินให้ผู้ขาย
8.Cyber Cash Server รับข้อมูลส่งต่อไปยังผู้ขายเพื่อส่งข้อมูลไปยังผู้ซื้อต่อไปปัจจัยสู่ความสำเร็จ
ปัจจัยแห่งความสำเร็จมี 4 ประเด็น คือ
(1) การบริการลูกค้า เทคโนโลยีต้องเข้าถึงได้ง่ายและเป็นมิตรกับประชาชน ลดขั้นตอนทางราชการที่ยุ่งยากซับซ้อน ให้สารสนเทศที่ทันสมัยและตรงกับความต้องการ
(2) การออกแบบและประเมินผล บริการต้องมีการบริหารจัดการที่ดีและรักษาระบบให้มีเสถียรภาพแม้ในภาวะวิกฤติ กำหนดนโยบายและกระบวนการรับข้อร้องเรียนที่ชัดเจน ติดตามผลและปรับปรุงระบบช่วยสร้างการมีส่วนร่วมอย่างต่อเนื่อง
(3) ความมั่นคง-ปลอดภัย บริการต้องอำนวยความสะดวกในการทำธุรกรรมออนไลน์ และให้ความสำคัญสูงสุดต่อความปลอดภัยในข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล
(4) การเห็นคุณค่าและความสำคัญ บริการที่ดีต้องถูกให้ความสำคัญในลำดับสูงสุดจากทุกภาคส่วน ผู้นำประเทศ นักการเมืองท้องถิ่น เจ้าหน้าที่ระดับสูง และพนักงานของรัฐ ต้องให้การสนับสนุนกระบวนการเรียนรู้และตอบข้อสงสัยแก่ประชาชนผ่านการสื่อสารสองทางอย่างประสิทธิภาพ
(5) การรักษาความปลอดภัย
ความต้องการการรักษาความปลอดภัย (security requirements) มีองค์ประกอบ ดังนี้
1.ความสามารถในการระบุตัวตนได้ (Anthentication)
2.ความเป็นหนึ่งเดียวของข้อมูล (Integriry)
3.ความไม่สามารถปฏิเสธได้ (Non-repudiation)
4.สิทธิส่วนบุคคล (Privacy)
วิธีการรักษาความปลอดภัย
• การใช้รหัส (Encryption)
• ใบรับรองทางอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (Electronic certificate)
• โปรโตคอล (Protocols)
ประโยชน์ e-payment ในองค์กร
- การสั่งชำระเงิน และการรับชำระเงินมีความสะดวกมากยิ่งขึ้น
ด้วยระบบ E – Pay ท่านไม่จำเป็นต้องเดินทางไปชำระเงินด้วยวิธีการเดิมๆ อีกต่อไป ท่านสามารถประหยัดเวลาและค่าใช้จ่ายต่างๆ เช่น ค่าใช้จ่ายด้านบุคคลากร และเวลาที่เสียไปจากการเดินทางรวมถึงความเสี่ยงจากการถือเงินสด เป็นต้น
- เพิ่มประสิทธิภาพด้านการบริหารการเงิน
เนื่องจากการบริการ E – Pay เป็นการชำระเงินแบบ Online และ Real Time จึงเพิ่มความสะดวกในกรณีที่ท่านต้องการสั่งชำระเงินเป็นกรณีเร่งด่วนโดยไม่จำเป็นต้องเดินทางเพื่อไปชำระเงินเหมือนระบบเดิม โดยผู้รับเงินสามารถรับเงินและนำเงินไปบริหารต่อได้ภายในระยะเวลาไม่เกิน 3 นาที โดยไม่ต้องรอการเคลียร์ริ่งของธนาคาร ถือเป็นการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการบริหารเงินสดของบริษัทอีกทางหนึ่ง
- ลดความผิดพลาดในการกรอกข้อมูลการทำรายการ
ระบบ E – Pay จะดึงข้อมูลจากฐานข้อมูลมาใช้ เช่น เลขที่บัญชีผู้มีอำนาจในการสั่งจ่าย ,
วงเงินในการสั่งจ่าย เป็นต้นทำให้ท่านสามารถทำงานได้รวดเร็วและลดข้อผิดพลาดที่อาจเกิดขึ้นจากการจัดพิมพ์เอกสารได้ทำให้การดำเนินงานทางด้านบัญชีและการเงินของบริษัทจึงมีความสะดวก รวดเร็ว
และถูกต้องมากยิ่งขึ้น
- การยืนยันการตัดบัญชีและการนำเงินเข้าบัญชี
ไม่ว่าท่านจะเป็นผู้สั่งชำระเงิน หรือรับชำระเงินก็จะได้รับข้อความยืนยันการตัดบัญชี (Debit Advice)และข้อความยืนยันการนำเงินเข้าบัญชี (Credit Advice) จากธนาคารผ่านระบบ E – Payเมื่อรายการชำระเงินเสร็จสมบูรณ์โดยท่านไม่ต้องสอบถามผลของการทำรายการไปที่ธนาคารโดยตรง
- เสริมสร้างความคล่องตัวในการทำงาน
ท่านสามารถเลือกใช้บริการกับธนาคารต่างๆ ที่เข้าร่วมให้บริการ หรือเปลี่ยนแปลงไปใช้ธนาคารอื่นในภายหลังก็ทำได้อย่างสะดวกโดยไม่ต้องเปลี่ยนโปรแกรมหรือขั้นตอนการทำงานแต่อย่างใด

คุณลักษณะบริการ
– บริการรับชำระเงินค่าสินค้า/บริการบนเว็บไซต์ของร้านค้าออนไลน์ได้ตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง
– ผู้ซื้อสามารถเลือกวิธีการชำระเงินได้ 2 วิธี ได้แก่
(1) ชำระด้วยการหักบัญชีเงินฝากธนาคารกรุงศรีฯ (Direct Debit) โดยผู้ซื้อต้องเป็นสมาชิกกรุงศรีออนไลน์
(Krungsri Online : KOL)
(2) ชำระด้วยบัตรเครดิต (Credit Card) ได้แก่ Visa, MasterCard จากทุกสถาบันการเงินทั่วโลก
– รองรับ 13 สกุลเงินหลัก ได้แก่ THB, USD, EUR, JPY, GBP, CHF, AUD, HKD, SGD, DKK, NOK, SEK และ CNY
– อนุมัติรายการสั่งซื้อสินค้า/บริการของผู้ซื้อแบบทันที (Real-Time Authorization) และแจ้งผลการทำรายการสั่งซื้อ
แก่ผู้ซื้อและร้านค้าทันที (Instant Online Confirmation)
– ระบบ e-Mail Confirmation เพื่อแจ้งให้ร้านค้าและผู้ซื้อรับทราบถึงผลการทำรายการนั้นๆ

1. การติดตั้ง Firewall 2 ชั้น
2. การเข้ารหัสข้อมูล SSL (Secured Socket Layer) ที่ 128 bits ของ Verisign ซึ่งเป็นมาตรฐานความปลอดภัยสูงสุด
3. การติดตั้งระบบรักษาความปลอดภัยโดยมีการเข้ารหัสทุกขั้นตอนของการรับส่งข้อมูล (End to End Encryption)
4. Fraud Protection เป็น feature หลักที่ถูกพัฒนามาเพื่อตรวจสอบและแจ้งถึงความเสี่ยงที่อาจจะเกิดขึ้นได้ภายใต้การใช้
บัตรเครดิตใบนั้นๆ (ช่วยร้านค้าในการตัดสินใจในการเรียกเก็บเงินหรือไม่ เท่านั้น)

กระบวนการทำงาน
1. ผู้ซื้อเข้ามาที่เว็บไซต์ร้านค้าและเลือกซื้อสินค้า/บริการตามที่ต้องการ
2. ผู้ซื้อสินค้า/บริการ สามารถชำระเงินบนเว็บไซต์ของร้านค้าผ่าน Krungsri e-Payment ได้ตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง โดยสามารถ
เลือกวิธีการชำระเงินได้ 2 วิธี คือ
(1) Direct Debit: หักบัญชีเงินฝากธนาคารกรุงศรีฯ ของผู้ซื้อที่เป็นสมาชิกกรุงศรีออนไลน์
(กรอก User ID & Password ของกรุงศรีออนไลน์)
(2) Credit Card: หักบัญชีบัตรเครดิต Visa, MasterCard จากทุกสถาบันการเงินทั่วโลก
(กรอกข้อมูลบัตรเครดิต)
3. ร้านค้าส่งรายการสั่งซื้อและยอดชำระเงินมายังระบบ Krungsri e-Payment เพื่อทำการส่งข้อมูลคำสั่งซื้อไปยังธนาคาร
4. ธนาคารจะพิจารณาอนุมัติรายการสั่งซื้อสินค้า/บริการและวงเงินของผู้ซื้อแบบทันที (Real-Time Authorization) และแจ้งผล
การทำรายการแก่ผู้ซื้อและร้านค้าทันที (Instant Online Confirmation และ e-Mail Confirmation) ผ่านระบบ

5. ผู้ซื้อสินค้า/บริการจะเห็นหน้าจอแสดงผลการทำรายการจากเว็บไซต์ร้านค้า
6. เมื่อร้านค้ายืนยันการจัดส่งสินค้ากับผู้ซื้อสินค้าแล้ว สามารถดำเนินการตรวจสอบรายการ (Transaction Log) สรุปยอดขาย
(Settlement) และเรียกดู/จัดพิมพ์รายการต่างๆ (Reporting) ได้จากระบบ BAY Payment Manager ได้ตลอด24ชม. ผ่านทาง
เครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ต (Real-Time Sales Tracking with Online System
7. ร้านค้าจะได้รับเงินค่าสินค้า/บริการ หลังจากทำการสรุปยอดขายส่งให้แก่ธนาคารในวันทำการถัดไปทันที

ขั้นตอนในการสมัครเป็นร้านค้าสมาชิก
1. เปิดบัญชีเงินฝากกับธนาคารกรุงศรีอยุธยา จำกัด (มหาชน) ได้ทุกสาขา เพื่อใช้เป็นบัญชีรับเงินของร้านค้า
2. กรอกแบบฟอร์มใบสมัครของธนาคาร โดยสามารถ Download ได้จากเว็บไซต์ธนาคาร

3. นำส่งแบบฟอร์มใบสมัคร พร้อมแนบเอกสารประกอบ แก่สาขาเจ้าของบัญชี
4. ธนาคารอนุมัติการสมัครบริการฯให้บริษัท/ร้านค้า
5. บริษัท/ร้านค้าลงนามทำสัญญาเพื่อขอใช้บริการ Krungsri e-Payment ของธนาคาร
6. ธนาคารติดต่อบริษัท/ร้านค้าเพื่อร่วมทดสอบระบบ Krungsri e-Payment โดยร้านค้าสามารถทดลองใช้งานระบบ
Krungsri Payment Manager เพื่อเรียกดูรายการและ รายงานประเภทต่างๆ
7. บริษัท/ร้านค้าแจ้งธนาคารถึงกำหนดพร้อมเปิดใช้บริการ
8. เมื่อทดสอบแล้วเสร็จ ธนาคารนำส่ง Merchant ID ชุดใช้งานจริงและ User ID & Password ในการเข้าสู่ระบบ
Krungsri Payment Manager ให้แก่บริษัท/ร้านค้า
9. ระบบ Krungsri e-Payment พร้อมให้บริการ
ระยะเวลาทั้งสิ้นนับตั้งแต่ธนาคารได้รับเอกสารจากบริษัท/ร้านค้า จนกระทั่งพร้อมให้บริการได้อยู่ที่ประมาณ 2-3 สัปดาห์
ขึ้นอยู่กับ ความครบถ้วนของเอกสารทั้งหมดที่บริษัท/ร้านค้ายื่นต่อธนาคาร และความพร้อมทางด้านเทคนิคของร้านค้า/บริษัท
ในการการเชื่อมต่อระบบ
เงื่อนไขการใช้บริการ
1. ร้านค้าผู้สมัครจะต้องมีบัญชีเงินฝากออมทรัพย์หรือบัญชีกระแสรายวันของธนาคารกรุงศรีอยุธยา จำกัด (มหาชน)
2. เป็นร้านค้าประเภทนิติบุคคล ที่ได้ทำการจดทะเบียนไม่น้อยกว่า 1 ปี และจดทะเบียนภาษีมูลค่าเพิ่ม (กรณีไม่ครบ 1 ปี
ต้องมีทุนจดทะเบียน และเรียกชำระไม่ต่ำกว่า 2 ล้านบาท)
3. ธุรกิจที่ร้านค้าประกอบต้องเป็นการขายสินค้า/บริการที่ไม่ผิดกฎหมายและศีลธรรม
ตัวอย่างประเภทธุรกิจที่ผิดกฎหมายและศีลธรรม เช่น
-ธุรกิจขายยาทุกประเภท ธุรกิจขายบุหรี่ ยาเส้น สารเสพติดทุกชนิด
-ธุรกิจขายสินค้าอบายมุข สื่อลามก อนาจาร ธุรกิจการจัดหาคู่
-ธุรกิจ Time Sharing Business ธุรกิจ Cyber Mall
-ธุรกิจขายอาวุธ ธุรกิจการพนัน เป็นต้น
4. มีสถานที่ประกอบการตั้งอยู่ในประเทศไทย และมีความน่าเชื่อถือ
5. ผู้ถือหุ้นต้องมีประวัติการเงินที่ดี
6. ในกรณีที่ลูกค้าปฏิเสธการชำระเงิน ร้านค้ายินยอมให้ธนาคารดำเนินการตัดเงินในบัญชีร้านค้าได้ โดยธนาคารจะแจ้ง
ให้ร้านค้าทราบล่วงหน้า
7. ร้านค้าจะต้องมีเงินค้ำประกันกับธนาคาร โดยเงินประกันดังกล่าวจะได้รับคืนหลังจากยกเลิกสัญญากับธนาคารไม่น้อยกว่า
6 เดือน
เอกสารประกอบการสมัคร
1. สำเนาบัตรประชาชนของผู้มีอำนาจลงนาม (อายุ 20 ปีขึ้นไป) และหากเป็นชาวต่างชาติ แสดงสำเนาหนังสือเดินทางและ
work permit
2. สำเนาทะเบียนบ้านของผู้มีอำนาจลงนาม
3. สำเนาหนังสือรับรองการจดทะเบียนบริษัทหรือห้างหุ้นส่วนจำกัด พร้อมวัตถุประสงค์ต้องจดทะเบียนมาแล้วไม่น้อยกว่า
1 ปีขึ้นไป (อายุไม่เกิน 30 วัน)
4. สำเนาหนังสือรับรองตราประทับบริษัทฯ (บอจ.3)
5. สำเนาสัดส่วนผู้ถือหุ้น (บอจ.5) กรณีที่กรรมการถือหุ้นเกิน 20% ให้แนบสำเนาบัตรประชาชน
6. สำเนาหนังสือบริคณห์สนธิ
7. สำเนาทะเบียนภาษีมูลค่าเพิ่ม (VAT ID) (ภพ.20)
8. ผลประกอบการเดินบัญชีย้อนหลัง 6 เดือน
9. สำเนาหนังสือทะเบียนพาณิชย์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (ถ้ามี)
10. แผนที่และรูปถ่ายที่ตั้งสถานประกอบการ
11. เอกสารแสดงสถานการณ์ครอบครองสถานที่ประกอบการหรือสัญญาเช่า
12. พิมพ์ตัวอย่างโฮมเพจของร้านค้า (หน้าแรกของเว็บไซต์)
13. อากรแสตมป์ 30 บาท
14. กรณีที่เป็นธุรกิจ Travel Agent ที่จัดนำเที่ยว จะต้องมีใบอนุญาตประกอบธุรกิจท่องเที่ยว ซึ่งออกโดยการท่องเที่ยว
แห่งประเทศไทย (ททท.)
15. กรณีเป็นธุรกิจที่มีลิขสิทธิ์ ต้องมีเอกสารแสดงความป็นเจ้าของลิขสิทธิ์
หมายเหตุ
1. เอกสารทุกแผ่นต้องลงนามรับรองสำเนาถูกต้องพร้อมประทับตรา
2. ธนาคารขอสงวนสิทธิ์สำหรับการเปลี่ยนแปลงข้อมูลดังกล่าวโดยมิต้องแจ้งให้ทราบล่วงหน้า
อัตราค่าธรรมเนียม
• ค่าธรรมเนียมแรกเข้า: 4,000 บาท/Merchant ID
• ค่าธรรมเนียมรายปี: 2,000 บาท/Merchant ID ยกเว้นกรณีมีรายการที่สรุปยอดขายแล้ว เกินกว่า 20 รายการต่อปี)
• ค่าธรรมเนียมต่อรายการการทำธุรกรรม:
– ชำระด้วยบัตรเครดิต Visa, MasterCard 3-5% ของมูลค่าขาย

[Update] Thailand Tax Forms: PP 30 Value Added Tax (VAT) Payment Form – Integrity Legal – Law Firm in Bangkok | include vat แปล ว่า – NATAVIGUIDES

As the title of this video suggests we are discussing VAT filing forms which is a specific type of Thailand tax form the PP 30; the Por Por 30 as they say. This pertains to VAT that is Value Added Tax in the Kingdom.
As of the time of this video VAT is currently being assessed at 7% although as noted in prior videos on this channel, that is basically being kept in effect by sort of year on year temporary measures. When it was first brought into effect it was a 10% VAT which was subsequently lowered and that has stayed in effect through usage of temporary, basically temporary power on the part of the state, to go ahead and maintain that VAT at a rate of about 7%.
The PP 30, which is this form right here, this form goes ahead and deals with one’s VAT assessment on a monthly basis. There is sort of a credit/debit system associated with VAT. If you essentially pay out more in VAT than you take in any given month it is sort of offset. That being said, at the end of the day most companies are at least going to pay something of VAT; at least that has been my experience, although there are months where you can have these really anomalous circumstances where there is a massive VAT credit; it does happen.
The thing to take away from this video though is, this is a this is the form and the thing that should be noted specifically when it comes to issues surrounding VAT is regardless of the fact whether income came into the company on which VAT may be payable on, a company still needs to go ahead and file this form regardless of the income of the company. Even a zero filing has to be done. These are required monthly filings. They are not necessarily circumstantially dependent on whether or not tax needs to be paid. Even if tax does not need to be paid, even if 0 is the amount that is being assessed on the Company, the form itself still needs to go ahead and be filed. So that’s a little bit different than some of the other forms associated with Thai tax. VAT is a very important component of the Thai tax system and for that reason it has been my experience, the Revenue Department takes VAT filings very, very seriously and failure to file within the allotted deadline associated with the monthly filings can result in fines and penalties.
Another thing to think of for foreigners in this context. It has been my experience having gone through many, many times the business visa extension process, things like work permit renewals, it has been my experience that officers scrutinizing the company’s financial situation when determining whether or not to go ahead and issue a long-term business Visa especially, VAT filings such as these and the records associated therewith, it has been my experience that those are of a special note to the Officers scrutinizing those kind of applications and for this reason the PP 30 is an extremely important form, if not only from a tax compliance standpoint, but also with respect to renewal of business visas and work permits here in the Kingdom of Thailand.

Trikes are more expensive because there is more material used in manufacturing them. For example, the backpack paramotors that I’ve owned have ranged from $5500 to $8,250. The trike that I own starts at $13,200 however, there are smaller models available that cost a bit less. Point being, trikes cost more and that may make a difference to you.
Trikes are far less taxing on your body than back mounted paramotors; Even if the pilot lands gracefully every time. When learning to fly, trainees often make little mistakes that result in falling during a takeoff of landing usually because their legs simply cannot keep up with the speed combined with the weight. If you’re physically fit, you may be able to take a spill and get back on the horse. However, the majority of folks coming into the sport are older. Someone who experiences chronic pain anywhere along their spine, hips, or lower extremity should strongly consider a trike.
Just how practical are the two versions of paramotors? Unless you live on a large piece of land that you can safely launch and land a trike from, a backpack version of a paramotor will likely be more practical since transporting a trike generally is more challenging and more time consuming. The trike that I own requires another person to help me lift and lower it into and out of the bed of my truck. Transporting my backpack paramotor is easier, faster, and most importantly, I can do it on my own. I can transport my back mounted paramotor in other ways that are even faster than using my truck. More often than not, I ride my ATV or electric scooter to the field while wearing my paramotor on my back.
Flying with a passenger is possible with both versions of a paramotor as well, but it’s unquestionably easier to fly with people using a trike. The back pack foot launch versions can be equipped with a long bar that extends in front of the pilot that a passenger can then be clipped into. Because the pilot and passenger are so close to each other, the takeoff and landing can be, and often is, very difficult. When you own a trike designed for taking another person up, you take off the same way you would if you didn’t have a passenger. It’s much easier!
I have a love/hate relationship with using my legs as landing gear. Though it may not be the case for others my age, I occasionally feel a sharp pain in my feet when I land. This is especially true during the colder times of year. Also, wearing a back pack that weighs upwards of 7080 pounds with fuel is exhausting, especially when it’s hot outside!
Foot launched paramotors are capable of taking off in smaller areas because they get into the air in a shorter distance than wheeled paramotors. Trikes are heavier, so acceleration is generally slower. A footlaunch paramotor takes off faster than a trike because it reaches the speed required for liftoff sooner than a trike.
All that said, you should fly from location that is much bigger that you actually need whether you’re piloting a foot launch unit or a trike.
Foot launch paramotors and trike paramotors handle very similarly in the air, however, foot launch paramotors typically come with a design feature called swing arms that can allow the pilot to feel more connected to the glider. Trikes don’t have this feature, unless you get a hybrid version of a trike that process some features that are similar to a footlaunch unit. If you’re interested in those, let me know in the comments and I’ll make a video on it.
Since trikes are heavier than foot launch units, they’re typically flown with larger glider. Larger gliders generally don’t possess the same agility that is found in smaller sportier gliders, like my warp. Keep in mind, not everyone wants the fly aggressive. In fact, most paramotor pilots fly conservatively on gliders that don’t behave like a bat out of hell.
What my trike affords me is very relaxing experience in the air where is soak up the views, free of worry about weather my landing is going to hurt my legs. Most of all, I love touch and goes; I feel so accomplished whenever I squeak in a gentle landing.
If you’re in top notch shape, I suggest getting a footlaunch unit while you still have your youth about you. Avoid getting a footlaunch unit simply because they’re more affordable if you have an injury that could get worse by using one. Trikes are incredible. Footlaunch units are incredible.

Hi. James, from EngVid. When I’m not making videos, I need to make money, and this lesson, actually, is about restaurants. I used to be a waiter when I was younger, so I’ve been in many a restaurant, and I know it might be difficult for you when you I mean, you’re coming to a new country. I’ll slow it down for you because this is basic. You’re coming to a new country, and you want to enjoy something. You want to have a meal out of your house. You know meal, dinner, or lunch or breakfast. And you go to the restaurant and then somebody walks up to you with, \”party of\”, \”table of\”, \”And what would you like for appetizers?\” \”Would you like an app?\” \”Would you like this?\” \”Well, how about your main?\” \”What about this?\” No! Please, don’t. So let’s slow it down. Let’s make it basic, so when you enter a restaurant, you can right away know what they’re talking about. Now, there’re other things you know, we don’t have everything in here. There are two other videos on restaurants that you can go watch on EngVid, but this is basic. But even if you think, \”Oh, I know all this stuff. I’m very good\”, you might learn a thing or two. Okay? So come watch.
So let’s start off first. The worm has a drink. One of the first things they’re going to come up to you depending and see, I don’t know if you know this. There’s \”fine dining\”, \”casual dining\”, and \”fast food\”. First thing you should know, so where are you going? \”Fast food\” is like McDonald’s, Taco Bell [coughs] that’s not food Taco Bell, Subway most of this won’t apply, okay? But some of these words, like well, we’ll get there will apply, and I’ll let you know. \”Casual dining\” is like Chili’s or Montana’s. I mean these are restaurants in the United States and Canada, so don’t worry, but it’s all similar. It means you can wear something like I’m wearing: jeans there you go. I’m getting old. Can’t lift that leg up or a Tshirt, and it’s okay. No one’s going to complain, okay? And you can sit down. Not like McDonald’s. You can sit down with a knife and fork, and you can eat your dinner. Or then you have \”fine dining\”. \”Fine dining\” is when the people wear what we call \”penguin suits\”. They have a tie and a shirt, and they walk up, and they serve on tables. Okay? But you need a reservation, and it’s mucho dinero mis amigos, mucho, mucho dinero. For the rest of you, it’s lots of money. \”Fine dining\” \”fine\” means \”expensive\”, and you usually require a reservation to get a table. So let’s just go with casual, because casual is where most can go. Even if you’re in a foreign country and there are people who serve tourists, they’re going to go mostly to casual, not necessarily fine dining, so I’m sticking with casual, all right?
So casual McDonald’s we know you just walk in. And here’s something and McDonald people you can thank me. Next time you go, don’t watch them and say, \”Give me Big Mac. Give me French fries. And that I want.\” Try to say, \”may I\” or \”can I have\”. People who work in the service industry which is what the restaurant industry is, where they serve you they want a little politeness, so try \”can I have\” and \”may I have\”. You’ll be surprised at how much better they serve you or treat you. Now let’s go to the board with the worm, who is providing drinks. One of the first things you come in and you come to a restaurant, they might say to you, \”party of\” or \”table for\”. And you’re going to say, \”What?\” Well, \”party of\” I know you’re not like, \”Fiesta time, baby! Yeah, we’re going to party, going to be drinking\” no. What they mean is you are a group of people, and how many are in the group. So \”party of two\” or \”party of four\” means there are two you can say, \”There are two in my party\” or four. \”There are two of us\”, or \”there are four of us\”, or ten, okay? Then it’s a \”partay\”. It’s not a \”party\”; it’s a \”partay\”. Now, \”table of\” means the same thing, or \”table for\”, \”table for\”. And they mean, for I did a video where I talked about \”for\” means \”receive\”. Go look at it. \”For\” means \”to receive\”, so \”table for four people\”, so \”table for four\”, \”table for five\” this is four. How many people? That’s easy. And that’s when they’re sitting in the front. That’s the first thing they will ask you.
Then they will bring you to your table. And they’re going to give you something called a \”menu\”.
