The question of whom to marry is a very tricky one to answer because there is no such thing as one size fits all when it comes to God’s will. Whom to marry is one of the most important decisions in our lives. Marry rightly and it will make you, marry wrongly and it will mar you. Your choice will affect extensively the rest of your life. Considering this, it’s in one’s prerogative to be sure they are doing the right thing. This is why we would be discussing the topic: \”5 ways God shows you who to marry\” today. The assurance we have as believers is that God orders our steps as we see in Psalm 37 vs 23. Proverbs 16 verse 9 says A person plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps. Proverb 19 verse 21 says Many are the thoughts of men but only the ways of the Lord will prevail. God in his infinite mercies might reveal when and whom we should marry because when you marry the right person at the wrong time it is still the same as marrying the wrong person also marrying the wrong person at the right time is headed for doom (Time and chance happens to them all Ecclesiastes 9 vs 11). Hearing from God as pertaining to whom to marry or making major decisions in our lives all depends on our relationship with God because he said in his words that the voice of strangers you shall not hear (John 10 vs 5) but this depends on the extent of your fellowship with him. At this stage, it is normal for our personal desires to affect our ability to hear God clearly but he said in his words that you shall find me when you diligently seek me (Jeremiah 29 vs 13). Also considering the fact that another person’s will is involved you will need to be extremely sure that you heard from God before proceeding to ask the other person to pray and find out what God is saying about the issue. The most important steps you can take when praying for whom to marry is to surrender you will, desires and your choices completely to God, step back and let it unfold naturally.
Ways God shows you who to marry
•Clear signs: Considering the example of Sarah and Abraham’s servant Eleazer where he prayed for particular signs to see to know God is leading him. Rebecca on the other hand had no idea of Eleazer’s prayers but unintentionally acted out all the signs he requested of the Lord to show him who was to be his master’s son’s wife. Through this he was very sure who his master’s son’s wife was.We often doubt the ability of God to provide us with exactly what we need in our spouses but the bible in Hebrew 10 vs 23 says faithful is he who has promised, He will never fail us once we don’t compromise and make a list of unrealistic expectations but with godly characters that aligns with the will of God for your life. Some people may say that that was Bible times, the facts is this God still speaks to you directly about who to marry, he may speak through clear signs. We can not limit God to what we expect of him, God can still choose to speak through clear signs. There are many stories even in our generation of people who asked God for clear signs about the person he would have them marry and they received it. Clear signs is a way God may show you who to marry.
•Dreams and Visions: God can show you who to marry through dreams and visions. If God sometimes speaks to you through dreams and visions then it would make it easier for you to interpret the dream or vision. One thing about dreams and visions is that they rarely are direct, it usually takes a measure of interpretation to know what a dream is saying. If God shows you who to marry through a dream or vision, do not interpret the dream based on your personal bias. Rather, ask God for the interpretation through prayers and with a heart open to receive from God. God can decide the means he will show you who to marry is dreams or visions, one thing you must do is ensure you interpret that dream based on the leadership of the Holy Spirit. This is because if you are not careful you may attach your own meaning to dreams and not God’s own. When Joseph was going to interpret the dreams of the chief Butler and the chief Baker, he could have decided to use his own interpretation.

In the weeks since Brian Laundrie’s remains were found, many questions have lingered about what happened to Gabby Petito.
After Laundrie’s parents joined law enforcement to search for their son near the Carlton Reserve, partial human remains and several items belonging to Laundrie were found.
One of these items was a notebook which, for those following the case, has remained a source of interest.
Now, Petito’s father, Joe Petito, has spoken about the notebook and the mystery surrounding it.
WHAT IS IN BRIAN LAUNDRIE’S NOTEBOOK?
The exact contents of the notebook remain unknown and, while investigators did say the notebook may be salvageable, it may never be released to the public.
JOE PETITO IS NOT FOCUSED ON THE NOTEBOOK.
The father of Laundrie’s deceased girlfriend says the notebook will not bring his daughter back nor will it give Chris and Roberta Laundrie their son.

Instead, he says he is focused on how to prevent other families from losing their daughters.
The Petitos have been vocal about improving services for domestic violence victims.
However, online sleuths are still hyperfocused on the possible contents of the diary after seeing images of evidence being taken away from the scene.
THERE APPEARS TO BE A DRAWINGS ON LAUNDRIE’S NOTEBOOK.
A close look at what seems to be the notebook in another bag shows an obscure shape on the cover.
This may be a drawing, sticker or could be any other mark from the item being in the wilderness.
The shape resembles a side profile though it is unclear what exactly the image could be.
LAUNDRIE WAS KNOWN TO HAVE A NOTEBOOK OF DRAWINGS.
Many of Laundrie’s Instagram posts show elaborate drawings of demonic looking figures or a grim reaper.
Petito’s family recalled seeing him make drawings for their younger children.

It’s possible that the notebook found is where Laundrie stored some of these artworks and may be considered evidence in the case.
LAUNDRIE’S NOTEBOOK MAY HAVE BEEN STORED IN A DRY BAG.
We know that the recently discovered items were discovered in an area that was previously underwater which has led some to question how the notebook has not disintegrated.
However, images of Chris Laundrie retrieving evidence shows what appears to be the notebook stored in a bag that may be waterproof.

Dry bags are specifically designed to be sealed and can float in water. This implies that Laundrie may have been using the bag to protect his items or intended them to be found.
ONLINE SLEUTHS HAVE THEIR OWN THEORIES ABOUT WHAT IS IN LAUNDRIE’S NOTEBOOK.
As those who have followed the case closely hope to finally have the answers they’ve been seeking, many are theorizing that a confession could be in the notebook.
Others are hoping that Petito’s family will be able to receive even some sliver of information from the evidence.
“Gabby’s family must be devastated, too. Brian owed them answers,” one Twitter user wrote. “I hope whatever is in that notebook helps give them some sort of closure someday.”
