Far Cry 3 Loading Error Fixed! Windows 10, 2017
The command line is down below. You need to find the file name \”GamerProfile.xml\” first. For some of you it may be in your \”users\” file. Click the \”users\” folder, it should be at the top and it should be a specific name that your PC gave you for the user file name. From that point find the \”FarCry3\” file. It should be in there.
For others, the \”GamerProfile.xml\” file will be elsewhere in a file that specifically says \”FarCry 3\” or something very close to that. Also, don’t forget that if you have OneDrive it will be in your \”Documents\” folder under the OneDrive application. From that point on dig for the \”FarCry 3\” file. Click it, the file should be in there.
If you don’t have OneDrive then the GamerProfile.xml file may be in your bin file in the main Far Cry 3 folder.
The xml line that needs to be in the \”GamerProfile.xml\” file is D3D11MultithreadedRendering=\”0\”
Also, make sure you right click the \”GamerProfile.xml\” file and hit \”Open With Notepad.\” Find that line and make sure it’s what is displayed above. You can copy and paste it. Make sure you click \”save\” on the file once you’ve fixed it.
IT WON’T WORK if you have 2 of the same lines, but one is set to \”0\” at the end, and the other is set to something other than 0 at the end. You can only have that one specific command line!
You may only have to change the number from \”1\” to \”O\” depending on what the command line says at the end. You can still delete the line and replace it, as long as it’s copied word for word.
You will have to launch this game manually in your main \”FarCry 3\” folder. Right click the application and \”Launch as Administrator\”
You absolutely have to follow the rest of the steps I’ve mentioned in the video in order to make sure everything stays in line for the game to launch correctly. I wouldn’t skip any steps. Thanks for watching! If you have questions just comment below.
