Have you answered the above questions? 🧐 If not, do not read further below are the answers!
1) We use the words “yet”, “just” and “already” almost exclusively with present perfect.
2) We put “yet\” at the end of the sentence. We use it in negative sentences and in questions. For example: “I haven’t emptied my bins yet.” “Have you fed the dog yet?”
3) No, we don’t normally use \”just\” and \”already\” in negative sentences.
4) We use \”just\” with present perfect to say that something happened very recently and the result is often visible in the present. For example: “I have just cleaned the floor be careful, it’s still wet.”
5) We use \”already\” with present perfect to talk about actions that happened before now or earlier than expected. For example: “I have already done my homework, can I watch the TV now?”
