I have tommorow exam
I have some questions to you and expecting to be answered quickly.
1) House has burnt.
2) Shop has opened.
3) Show has started.
4) The document has submitted.
Now tell me if the first three sentences are correct which I know are correct why the fourth one is wrong. What is the logic behind this or which rules make the first three sentences correct and make the fourth one wrong.
Many other examples are following
1) Room filled with balloons. (correct in past simple.)
2) Room was filling with water. (not correct in past continuous but why?)
3) Glass broke. (correct in past simple.)
4) Glass was breaking. (not correct in past continuous but why?)I have some questions to you and expecting to be answered quickly.
