As a general rule, we add “ed” to regular English verbs to make them past. However, if the verb ends in "e", we are only going to add a "d" to it. If the verb ends in a consonant plus "y", we are going to change that "y" for an "i" and we are going to add "ed" to it.

I was thinking about a great tool to teach the simple past to my students, until I realized about the end of the story, I don't have any problem with a gay couple, but that fact it's going to be the centre of comments and questions from the kids after the video, and that´s not the idea! thanks anyway!
