Thanks for the Lesson Dave! I've a question if you don't mind. Can't I say "I've been waiting for you for 2 hours already". I.e. can I use already in continuous? I know you say one cannot use it, but still it sound so natural, am I just mistaken?
Amazing!!!!!

Dear teacher
I would like to ask you about p.p.s. is used for long period of time(I have worked a doctor for 25 years) and p.p.c. is used for short actions (I have been waiting for bus for 20 minutes "And l am still doing this") .Could you answer me if l writeanswer correct or wrong ?
This is very very useful lesson. Thanks.
Dear teacher, I see contradicting information on youtube lessons about present perfect simple. Some teachers say that p.p.s is an action that is not completed yet.
Example – I have lived here for 3 years ( I am still living here). Whereas others say that P.P.S must describe an action that ended by now.
I have lived here for 3 years ( It happened in the past, we don't know when. I don't live here any more).
and if it helps in your explanation could you please explain the difference between I have lived here for 3 years and I have been living here for 3 years. thanks a lot
We are emphasizing duration of action (perfect continuous….all day), and not result of action (perfect simple).
Thank you for the lesson!!!!!!!!!!!I have a sentence- She is happy. She has been riding her bike all day. According to this lesson I should use Present Perfect Continuous in this sentence. But it is not unintended result. What's it?I mean which point?
Yes. See my other video in the Learn English as easy as pie series. Just watch episode 3, the summary of all tenses.
Thank you.
thank you
