วันนี้เรามาเรียนรู้เรื่องตัวพิพม์เล็ก ตัวพิมพ์ใหญ่ และอักษรย่อกันเพิ่มเติม แต่ด้วยความที่เรื่องนี้ไม่ใช้ปัจจัยหลักของการเรียบรู้ภาษาอังกฤษ แต่ก็นับว่าเป็นเรื่องที่ขาดไม่ได้และจะละทิ้งเสียเลยก็ไม่ได้ เพราะ สำคัญต่อการสื่อสารนั่นเอง โดยเฉพาะการเขียน (การพิมพ์ การแชตออนไลน์) ดังจะเห็นได้ว่าเป็นที่นิยมย่อคำกันอย่างมาก เพราะสั้น กระชับ และรวดเร็ว

CAPITALIZATION หลักการใช้อักษรตัวพิมพ์ใหญ่
Capitalization คือ หลักการใช้อักษรตัวพิมพ์ใหญ่ เป็นสิ่งสำคัญที่ควรศึกษาสำหรับผู้เรียนภาษาอังกฤษตั้งแต่ระดับเริ่มต้นจนไปถึงระดับสูง ซึ่งมีความสำคัญมากในการเขียนภาษาอังกฤษ
Capitalization Rules
โดยหลักการใช้อักษรตัวพิมพ์ใหญ่ หรือ Capitalization นั้นสามารถแบ่งการใช้ออกตามหลักการ ต่อไปนี้
- The first word of a sentence
เราจะใช้กับคำที่เป็นคำขึ้นของประโยค เช่น
I am a student.

- Proper nouns
เราใช้เมื่อเป็นชื่อเฉพาะต่างๆ เช่น ชื่อคน สถานที่ หนังสือ แม่น้ำ ถนน เป็นต้น ดังตัวอย่างต่อไปนี้
