นั่งลง Open the window. เปิดหน้าต่างด้วย Don’t disturb her.
Please…………..
…………………….please.
Please sit down.
Open the window, please.
Please don’t disturb her.

Don’t park in front of the office, please.
Please get me a chair.
I want …………, please.
I would like …………….., please.
I want some water, please.
I want a pen, please.
I want some drinks, please.
I would like a cup of coffee, please.
I would like the red one, please.
I ask you to
I request you to
I want to ask you to
I want to request you to
I ask you to open the window.

I want you to sit down.
I would like you to get me a pen.
Yes/No Question :     Can / Will you…….., please?
Could / Would you please……., (please)?
Could / Would you kindly………..?
Would you be so kind as to……..?
Do / Would you mind………?
Tag Question :         ………,will you?
………,won’t you?
Wh- Question :         What……., please?
Who………, please?
(ect.)
Indirect Question :     I wonder if you……
I wonder if you’d mind…….
Can you sit down, please?
Will you make me a cup of coffee, please?
Could you please tell me the way to the airport?

Will you find the meaning of the word for me?
Would you mind giving me her name?
Come in, will you?
Close the window, won’t you?
Sit down, won’t you?
Speak slowly, will you?
What’s your name, please?
Where are you from, please?
When were you born, please?
How old are you, please?
I wonder if you’d lend me the typewriter.
I wonder if you could help me with this?
I wonder if you would mind checking this work.
I wonder if you would mind explaining this sentence.
Yes, of course
Certainly
All right ตกลง
Not at all
O.K.
Sure
With pleasure
I’d be glad to
No, of course not
Certainly not
I’m sorry…..
I’m afraid….
I wish I could but……
I’m sorry I don’t know.
I’m afraid I am not free at that time.
I wish I could but I have to hurry back home.
-การใช้กริยารูปอดีต (past) คือ could, would ไม่มีความหมาย เป็นอดีต แต่แสดงถึงความสุภาพหรือเกรงใจว่า can และ will และใช้ would like สุภาพกว่า want
-การขอร้องรูปคำถาม Yes/No นั้นแตกต่างจากคำถามธรรมดา โดยเติม Please เข้าไปเพื่อแสดงการขอร้อง และตอบแตกต่างกัน โดยคำถามธรรมดาตอบ Yes/No แต่การขอร้องตอบ Yes, of course หรือ I’m sorry …

Do / Would you mind + v-ing Of course not / Certainly not
