หลักการใช้  Future Simple Tense (Tense อนาคตธรรมดา)  เป็นอีกหนึ่ง Tense ที่ค่อนข้างง่ายไม่ยุ่งยากเท่าไหร่ โดยเฉพาะในแง่ของโครงสร้าง เพราะประธานทุกตัวใช้กริยาตัวเดียวกัน

การใช้ Future Simple Tense

ความหมาย

• Future  ฟิวเชอะ= อนาคต
  
• Simple  ซิมเพิล = ธรรมดา

ที่บอกว่า “อนาคตธรรมดา” หมายถึง ในช่วงเวลาหนึ่งของอนาคต จะมีเหตุการณ์หนึ่งเกิดขึ้น (เช่น ฉันจะทำอะไรบางอย่าง ในเวลานั้น เป็นต้น)

• หลักภาษาดั้งเดิม I กับ We  ใช้ shall ที่เหลือใช้ will แต่ในปัจจุบันนี้นิยมใช้ will แทน shall ดังนั้น ตัวอย่างในที่นี้ประธานทุกตัวจะใช้ will ทั้งหมด ส่วนหลักการใช้ will กับ shall จะมีอีกบทเรียนหนึ่งครับ

หลักการใช้

หลักการใช้ Future Simple Tenseใช้ในกรณีดังต่อไปนี้

1. ใช้คาดเดาว่าจะเกิดอะไรขึ้นในอนาคต หรือถ้าพูดง่ายๆคือ “คิดว่าจะอย่างโน้น จะอย่างนี้” เป็นการ”คาดเดาจากความคิดส่วนตัว”

• คำบ่งบอกเวลาในอนาคต
• • tonight ทุไนท คืนนี้
  • tomorrow ทุมอโร  พรุ่งนี้
  • next (เน็กซ์ = ถัดไป) +เวลา,  วัน, สัปดาห์, เดือน, ปี, ฤดูกาล หรือ อื่นๆ….
    – next hour เน็กซ์เอาเวอะ ชั่วโมงถัดไป
    – next Monday, next Tuesday, next Wednesday…..
    – next week  เน็กซ์วีค สัปดาห์ถัดไป
    – next month เน็กซ์มันธ เดือนถัดไป
    – next spring,  next summer, next fall, next winter / next hot season, next rainy season, next hot season
    – next year เน็กซ์เยีย ปีถัดไป

• เนื่องจากว่าเป็นการคิดหรือคาดการณ์ จึงมีคำเหล่านี้อยู่ด้วย
  • probably อาจจะ
  • think คิดว่า
  • sure มั่นใจ
  • expect คาดว่า
  • know รู้ว่า
  • hope หวังว่า

• It will probably snow tomorrow.
  หิมะอาจจะตกพรุ่งนี้

• I think you will win this game.

  หล่อนอาจจะไปเดือนหน้า

คำบ่งบอกอนาคต จะมีหรือไม่ก็ได้ เพราะเหตุการณ์เป็นเรื่องอนาคตอยู่แล้ว เช่น

• I will send this letter to Jane.
  ฉันจะส่งจดหมายไปหาเจน

• I will call you when I arrive.
  ฉันจะโทรหาคุณเมื่อฉันมาถึง

2. ใช้บอกการกระทำที่ไม่ได้ว่าแผนมาก่อน หรือคิดไว้ล่วงหน้ามาก่อน เป็นการตัดสินใจ ณ บัดนั้นเลย

เช่นเพื่อนเขาคุยกันว่า หลังกินข้าวเย็นวันนี้เขาจะดูโทรทัศน์กัน บ้างคนก็จะดูหนัง บางคนจะดูกีฬา ถ้าเพื่อนถามเราว่าจะดูอะไร  เราก็ตอบไปเลยว่า

การตอบแบบนี้หมายความว่า เราไม่ได้มีแผนมาก่อนว่าเราจะดูอะไร หรือจะทำอะไร ดังนั้นให้ใช้ will แล้วตามด้วยสิ่งที่คิดจะทำได้เลย

• I will go to school tomorrow.
  ฉันจะไปโรงเรียนพรุ่งนี้

• I will buy a coffee for you.
  ฉันจะซื้อกาแฟให้คุณ

• It’s cold. I will close the window.
  มันหนาว ฉันจะปิดหน้าต่าง

• I will help you with your homework.
  ฉันจะช่วยคุณทำการบ้าน

• Don’t worry. I’ll take care of it.

3. ใช้บอกคำมั่นสัญญา นั่นคือ สัญญาว่าจะทำอย่างโน้น ไม่ทำอย่างนี้ หรือใช้ ข่มขู่ ก็ได้

คำสัญญา

• I will love you only.
  ฉันจะรักเธอเท่านั้น

• I will never let you down.
  ฉันจะไม่ทำให้เธอผิดหวัง

• I won’t do it again.
  ฉันจะไม่ทำอีกแล้ว

• Don’t worry. I won’t tell your parents.
  ไม่ต้องห่วง ฉันจะไม่บอกพ่อแม่ของเธอ

คำขู่

• I will tell your parents about this.
  ฉันจะบอกพ่อแม่เธอเรื่องนี้

• I will not talk to you if you tell anyone.
  ฉันจะไม่พูดกับคุณ ถ้าคุณบอกใคร

Time Line เส้นเวลา

ไทมไลน์ของ Future Simple Tense ค่อนข้างดูง่ายครับ ไม่มีอะไรซับซ้อน เป็นการบอกเหตุการณ์ที่จะเกิดในอนาคต ซึ่งเป็นจุดใดจุดหนึ่งของเวลา อย่างที่บอกไว้ครับ จะมีคำศัพท์ระบุเวลาด้วยหรือไม่ก็ได้

ประโยคปฏิเสธ

การเปลี่่ยนประโยคบอกเล่าเป็นปฏิเสธก็แสนง่าย เติม not เข้าไปหลัง will แค่นั้นเอง

I will not go to school tomorrow. ฉันจะไม่ไปโรงเรียนพรุ่งนี้

You won’t love this movie. คุณจะไม่ชอบหนังเรื่องนี้

He will not clean the car next week. เขาจะไม่ล้างรถสัปดาห์หน้า

She won’t buy a bike next month. หล่อนจะไม่ซื้อจักรยานเดือนหน้า

It will not snow next season. หิมะจะไม่ตกฤดูกาลหน้า

We won’t fly to London next Monday. เราจะไม่บินไปลอนดอนวันจันทร์หน้า

They will not teach English next semester. พวกเขาจะไม่สอนภาษาอังกฤษเทอมหน้า

ประโยคคำถาม

การเปลี่่ยนประโยคบอกเล่าเป็นคำถามก็ใช้สูตรเดิม คือ ถ้ามีกริยาช่วยในประโยค ให้ใช้กริยาช่วยขึ้นต้นประโยคได้เลย กริยาช่วยใน Future Simple Tense คือ will

การถามรูปแบบประโยคบอกเล่า

Will + ประธาน + กริยาช่องที่ 1

การถามรูปแบบประโยคปฏิเสธ

Will + ประธาน + not + กริยาช่องที่ 1

Won’t + ประธาน + กริยาช่องที่ 1
