One skills video to rule them all, this is a unique video in that we embrace the most environmentally sound scuba diving etiquette’s in demonstrating our PADI skills circuit neutrally buoyant, some in just a few feet/meter of water. Things Go Wrong SCUBA Diving at 100 Feet – Cozumel. Video by Craig Capehart
Male diver (30 35 years old?) experiences a series of problems during a deep dive to 120′ max. Although his tank obviously has air, the diver seems to panic and the Divemaster passes his octo alternate air regulator to the diver. How do we know the diver’s tank has air? Notice that when the diver takes the regulator out of his mouth at about 0:22 mark it is free flowing and the DM uses the adjustment knob to dial down the flow until it stops. Also, at about the 1:55 mark the diver purges his hanging regulator. To my surprise, instead of ending the dive the DM and diver swim together and share air for at least 15 minutes, stopping to examine sea life. Diver went back on his own tank when we got closer to the surface and completed the safety stop on his own. \r
No, I am NOT the diver in distress, I am holding a camera and recording the event! No, the distressed diver is NOT the German AOW student diver (see related video shot earlier during the same dive: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAKvFiAYpUI)\r

On Cisco Losing Market Share
A recent IDC Ethernet Switch and Router Trackers (link below) show that Cisco continues to lose market share, now down to 55% while competitors Arista \u0026 Juniper have made ground.
So I’m thinking out loud what this means and some of the issues that struck me about this, what is driving this change, and whether this matters.
(Apologies for the audio quality, the audio channel had a problem that I couldn’t fix so I’m stuck with the camera audio track)

The PADI Divemaster course expects the candidate to be able to perform the basic scuba skills to a demonstration quality. It takes practice and positive reinforcement from a PADI Instructor to achieve. Once done a qualified PADI Divemaster is an invaluable asset to a dive centre and can be utilised in many ways, helping out on courses, leading dives and promoting the sport.
