  1. Task A
    One day, my friends decided to hang out. I agreed to go with them. Firstly, we arranged to go only for a walk, but then we became hungry. We bought sandwiches of chickens. Unfortunately, a group of cats🐈🐈 smelt them and came near us. They threatened us to leave the sandwiches for them. I threw a piece of the chickens to them. They run towards this piece. At this moment, we run away from them. Thus we managed to escape them. 😄

  2. i wrote a text with three of your suggested verbs the meaning is awful but i tried to use right grammar.

    the king pesuade his servants to entertain him somehow. the servants had a meeting and reach to a conclusion. they convinced a man to lose in a fake battle. they taught him how to use sword and shield. afterall at the end of the battle the king has been satisfied and every one were happy.

  3. Sentence –> Infinitives are the easiest verbals to learn.
    'verbals' = predicate noun
    'to learn' is infinitive. What is the role played by it ? Is it modifying the word 'verbals' or 'easiest' ?

  4. You need to work quickly in order to finish on time
    —————————————————
    In above sentence – is 'to work' an infinitive ? If so what is the role played by infinitive – Subject, Subject Complement, Adjective or Adverb ? Is infinitive modifying any word ?

  5. Great video one of those topics that confuse learners.My students find it hard to choose between gerund and infinitive when it comes to some verbs like stop, regret, try, forget and remember.But they get it after giving them my tricks.

  6. Dear Jennifer, I am planning a class and I will use your ideas! I have a doubt! If I say: I admit the desire to join a circus this week…There I can change the tense right? Because when you say: "I admit having the desire to join a circus." this tense in your examples is followed by the next sentence that your daughter gave.."I considered trying out.."(past)..So, in you context you are mixing the tenses, but in my context I can use them just in present right? 🙂

  7. Hi, Dear teacher, I came across with this sentence on a book I'm not quite sure why they don't use Ing(gerund or an Infinitive here)

    "I love to start work on new things that are close to our hearts"
    . So my question or doubt is: why don't use start WORKING /TO WORK? why WORK? thanks in advance for your explanation .
