This has been… a highlight of my entire life.
Western Rivers [sic] did a great job with the video, and the slideshows, to give the sense of what it would be like. It was that and a whole lot more.
The most meaningful part of the trip? Was just the fact that I got to do something with my son again.
The whole experience put together, makes it a complete package.
We probably made friends for life, that we’ll keep in contact with.
I looked at the website and there were these fantastic pictures, so I was thinking, oh that’s probably the nicest sites you will see at this tour. But then, going down the river, every corner offered another unique, even better, more spectacular view, so it’s uh… yeah it certainly has surpassed my expectations.
I just think being here, and seeing this beautiful gift from God, has been my highlight. That’s it. I just am in awe.
When you see families having this wonderful experience, and you know how important that is, because you can never get that back.
My favorite part was white water rafting, being right up front, and like getting all the water in your face, it’s like, refreshing. And then you hear everyone go, “Ahhhh”, and then it splashes all over you. It’s fun.
Western’s got the best boats. They flex, and they’re very athletic boats. You feel the waves, you feel the rapids more in their boat than you do on the SRig, which sort of dampens the rapid a little bit.
Love the JRigs, I have to say. Those are incredible boats.
These larger pontoon boats, they can run right through some of the biggest waves that I’ve ever seen in my life, they just power through them, it’s just amazing. Going through those rapids is better than any ride, any roller coaster in the world. The guides are just wonderful. They are the most competent people that I’ve ever met in my entire life. God creates a special species to be a river guide.
What have I enjoyed? Everything. It’s been wonderful.
You know, we came down here for… a four day rafting tour, and yet we got so much more. The highlight is, being out here.
I was surprised, was the excellence in food. [sic] I mean we’re in the middle of no where, and we’re having, you know, great dinners. Steak dinner… Salmon was fabulous, I mean, that’s good salmon right? I would highly recommend this kind of trip for anybody.

Two friends go on an epic adventure into Rio la Venta Canyon in Chiapas, Mexico to explore areas they hadn’t yet seen, practice survival skills, and search for answers to profound questions to topics of freedom, health and life. This video covers days one and two of the 6day expedition and reveals caves that serve as a den for wild animals including bats and a visit to a spectacular waterfall known as “La Conchuda”.
