Difference Between Present Perfect and Past Perfect in English
present perfect.
You explain Very well, wonderful explanation
He hadn't seen any gazelles since he was 10 years old.
He haven't seen any gazelles since he was 10 years old.
what's the difference?
i would be obsessed with this english if my teacher sounded like this 😩
Present perfect tense = an action that happened in the immediate past or an action that happened in an unspecified time
E.g
I have had my breakfast just now
I have gone to market
Past perfect tense=an action that happened before another action occurred( past of past)
I had had my breakfast by the time she showed up.( here two actions are in the past. 1) You took your breakfast 2), she showed up))
I had gone to market before I lost my key
Two actions are in the past.(1 you went to market. 2) you lost your key)
Thanks

If the subject is I, why can't we use don't for the present perfect instead of haven't for the negative????
These two tenses were the tenses that I mostly hate……. Why can't we only use one???
