Hi Rebeca. I don't have the money to pay for a course. When I started watching your videos on engvid I didn't quite understand what you were saying but, little by little, I improved my English listening and now I understand it very well. Thank you very much. I live in Brazil. In the Amazon.

How should I decide which word should I use because the same sentence can be express either by cause-words or by effect-words like Everyone buys it because it is reasonably priced or It is reasonably priced. Therefore, everyone buys it. What is the difference?
you are the best
Hi
I learn alot from this channel l can't thank you enough teacher Rebecca
Nice lesson. Cause and Effect is a vital area especially for EAP (English for Academic Purposes). Some other points: Be careful with the word 'result'. As a noun, it is similar to outcome or effect. But as a verb it works the other way around: The forest fires resulted in loss of habitat for many wild animals. [led to/ caused] Compare that with: Habitat loss has been one of the results of the forest fires. For an effect that follows swiftly after its cause, we can use trigger, prompt, provoke. For a more gradual effect we tend to use lead to. Severe loss of blood can trigger brain death. Eating too much sugar can lead to diabetes.
Cool
I just stumbled upon this page, and it's nice. But be aware, most collocations are also cliches and, thus, well worthy of being shunned.
Hi, Rebbecca. I hope you're doing well. Actually, I'm new here and I would like to thank you very much. Your manner of presenting english lessons make me trust of myself. I'm still beguiner you know but I'm expecting to improve my english with you. Take care.
Your lessons came across my mind…. mr. Skype does a great job. Spell disaster…

Thank you for all you create to make it possible for learners to improve their English. This lesson about cause and effect vocabulary, linked to the idea of collocation, builds deeper understanding of the different aspects (parts) of vocabulary. I salute you!

I noticed that all of those sentences are negative effects. Can I use them for positive effects?
