GRAMMAR NOTES
CORRELATIVE CONJUNCTION is used to link two words or phrases from two sentences to form one sentence.
Either… or… is used in a positive sentence to make a choice between two options.
Example:
1. You can go left.
2. You can go right.
= You can go either left or right.
Neither… nor… is used in a negative sentence to deny both choices.
Example:
1. They are not my schoolmates.
2. They are not my friends.
= They are neither my schoolmates nor friends.
