ปกติแล้วเราวาง adjectif ไว้หลังคำนามนะคะ โดยเฉพาะ adjectif ที่บอกสี, สัญชาติ, รูปลักษณ์, นิส้ย… จะไว้หลังคำนามเสมอ
adjectif ดังต่อไปนี้ที่ได้ใช้บ่อยๆและสั้นๆ จะไว้หน้าคำนาม
beau/bel, joli, bon, petit, grand, gros, vieux/ vieil, jeune, nouveau/nouvel, mauvais, haut
แต่ว่า ในกลุ่มนี้ก็จะมีบางคำที่วางไว้หน้าหรือหลังคำนามจะมีความหมายที่แตกต่างกันนะคะ
